سب خوبیاں اللہ کو جو مالک سارے جہان والوں کا

روز جزا کا مالک،
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ٥

You alone we worship and from You alone we seek help (and may we always).

ہم تجھی کو پوجیں اور تجھی سے مدد چاہیں
ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ٦

Guide us on the Straight Path.

ہم کو سیدھا راستہ چلا،
صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ٧

The path of those whom You have favoured – Not the path of those who earned Your anger – nor of those who are astray.

راستہ ان کا جن پر تو نے احسان کیا۔نہ ان کا جن پر غضب ہوا اور نہ بہکے ہوؤں کا

Kanzul Iman — English
Alif-Laam-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.)

الم (ف۲ )
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًۭى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ٢
Kanzul Iman — English
This is the exalted Book (the Qur’an), in which there is no place for doubt; a guidance for the pious.

وہ بلند رتبہ کتاب (قرآن) کوئی شک کی جگہ نہیں، ( ف ۳ ) اس میں ہدایت ہے ڈر والوں کو (ف٤)
ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Those who believe without seeing (the hidden), and keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and spend in Our cause from what We have bestowed upon them.

وہ جو بےدیکھے ایمان لائیں (ف۵) اور نماز قائم رکھیں (ف٦) اور ہماری دی ہوئی روزی میں سے ہماری میں اٹھائیں ۔ (ف۷)
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And who believe in this (Qur’an) which has been sent down upon you, O beloved Prophet, (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) and what was sent down before you; and are certain of the Hereafter.

اور وہ کہ ایمان لائیں اس پر جو اے محبوب تمہاری طرف اترا اور جو تم سے پہلے اترا (ف۸) اور آخرت پر یقین رکھیں ، (ف۹)
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ٥
Kanzul Iman — English
It is they who are on guidance from their Lord; and they are the successful.

وہی لوگ اپنے رب کی طرف سے ہدایت پر ہیں اور وہی مراد کو پہنچنے والے۔
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ٦
Kanzul Iman — English
As for those whose fate is disbelief, whether you warn them or do not warn them – it is all one for them; they will not believe. (Because their hearts are sealed – see next verse).

بیشک وہ جن کی قسمت میں کفر ہے (ف۱۰) انہیں برابر ہے، چاہے تم انہیں ڈراؤ، یا نہ ڈراؤ ، وہ ایمان لانے کے نہیں ۔
خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ غِشَٰوَةٌۭ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a covering; and for them is a terrible punishment.

اللہ نے ان کے دلوں پر اور کانوں پر مہر کردی اور ان کی آنکھوں پر گھٹا ٹوپ ہے، (ف۱۱) اور ان کے لئے بڑا عذاب
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And among the people are some* that say, “We believe in Allah and the Last Day**” whereas they are not believers! (* The hypocrites ** the Day of Resurrection)

اور کچھ لوگ کہتے ہیں (ف۱۲) کہ ہم اللہ اور پچھلے دن پر ایمان لائے اور وہ ایمان والے نہیں
يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They wish to deceive Allah and the believers; and in fact they deceive none except themselves and they do not have any understanding.

فریب دیا چاہتے ہیں اللہ اور ایمان والوں کو (ف۱۳) اور حقیقت میں فریب نہیں دیتے مگر اپنی جانوں کو اور انہیں شعور نہیں ۔
فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ١٠
Kanzul Iman — English
In their hearts is a disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment, because of their lies.

ان کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے (ف۱٤) تو اللہ نے ان کی بیماری اور بڑھائی اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے، بدلا ان کے جھوٹ کا ۔ (ف۱۵)
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ١١
Kanzul Iman — English
And when it is said to them, “Do not cause turmoil in the earth”, they say, “We are only peacemakers!”

اور ان سے کہا جائے زمین میں فساد نہ کرو، (ف۱٦) تو کہتے ہیں ہم تو سنوارنے والے ہیں
أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ١٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Pay heed! It is they who are mischievous, but they do not have sense.

سنتا ہے وہی فسادی ہیں مگر انہیں شعور نہیں
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوا۟ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And when it is said to them, “Believe as the others believe”, they say, “Shall we believe as the foolish believe?” It is they who are the fools, but they do not know.

اور جب ان سے کہا جائے ایمان لاؤ جیسے اور لوگ ایمان لائے (ف۱۷) تو کہیں کیا ہم احمقوں کی طرح ایمان لے آئیں (ف۱۸) سنتا ہے وہی احمق ہیں مگر جانتے نہیں ۔ (ف۱۹)
وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ شَيَٰطِينِهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُونَ١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And when they meet with the believers, they say, “We believe”; and when they are alone with their devils, they say, “We are undoubtedly with you, we were just mocking!”

اور جب ایمان والوں سے ملیں تو کہیں ہم ایمان لائے اور جب اپنے شیطانوں کے پاس اکیلے ہوں (ف۲۰) تو کہیں ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں، ہم تو یونہی ہنسی کرتے ہیں ۔ (ف۲۱)
ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ١٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Allah (befitting His Majesty) mocks them, leaving them to wander blindly in their rebellion.

اللہ ان سے استہزاء فرماتا ہے (ف۲۲) ( جیسا کہ اس کی شان کے لائق ہے) اور انہیں ڈھیل دیتا ہے کہ اپنی سرکشی میں بھٹکتے رہیں ۔
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
These are the people who purchased error in exchange of guidance – so their bargain did not profit them, and they did not know how to trade.

یہ لوگ جنہوں نے ہدایت کے بدلے گمراہی خریدی (ف۲۳) تو ان کا سودا کچھ نفع نہ لایا اور وہ سودے کی راہ جانتے ہی نہ تھے ۔ (ف۲٤)
مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًۭا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍۢ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Their example is like that of one who kindled a fire; and when it lit up all that was around it, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness, unable to see anything.

ان کی کہاوت اس طرح ہے جس نے آگ روشن کی۔ تو جب اس سے آس پاس سب جگمگا اٹھا اللہ ان کا نور لے گیا اور انہیں اندھیریوں میں چھوڑ دیا کہ کچھ نہیں سوجھتا ۔ (ف۲۵)
صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌۭ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ١٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بہرے، گونگے، اندھے تو وہ پھر آ نے والے نہیں
أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَٰتٌۭ وَرَعْدٌۭ وَبَرْقٌۭ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ١٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Or like a rainstorm from the sky, in which are darkness, thunder and lightning; they thrust their fingers in their ears due to the thunderclaps, fearing death; and Allah has the disbelievers encompassed.

یا جیسے آسمان سے اترتا پانی کہ ان میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک (ف ۲٦) اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس رہے ہیں، کڑک کے سبب، موت کے ڈر سے (ف ۲۷) اور اللہ کافروں کو، گھیرے ہوئے ہے ۔ (ف۲۸)
يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ٢٠
Kanzul Iman — English
It seems the lightning may snatch away their sight from them; whenever it flashes they walk in it, and when it darkens they stand still; if Allah willed, He could take away their hearing and their sight; indeed Allah is Able to do all things.

بجلی یوں معلوم ہوتی ہے کہ ان کی نگاہیں اچک لے جائے گی (ف۲۹) جب کچھ چمک ہوئی اس میں چلنے لگے (ف ۳۰) اور جب اندھیرا ہوا کھڑے رہ گئے اور اللہ چاہتا تو ان کے کان اور آنکھیں لے جاتا (ف۳۱) بیشک اللہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے ۔ (ف۳۲)
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ٢١
Kanzul Iman — English
O mankind! Worship your Lord, Who has created you and those before you, in the hope of attaining piety.

اے لوگو! (ف۳۳) اپنے رب کو پوجو جس نے تمہیں اور تم سے اگلوں کو پیدا کیا، یہ امید کرتے ہوئے، کہ تمہیں پرہیزگاری ملے ۔ (ف۳٤)
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِرَٰشًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًۭا لَّكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًۭا وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ٢٢
Kanzul Iman — English
The One Who has appointed the earth a base for you, and the sky a canopy – and caused water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you; and do not knowingly set up rivals to Allah!

جس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو بچھونا اور آسمان کو عمارت بنایا اور آسمان سے پانی اتارا (ف۳۵) تو اس سے کچھ پھل نکالے تمہارے کھانے کو ۔ تو اللہ کے لئے جان بوجھ کر برابر والے نہ ٹھہراؤ (ف۳٦)
وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍۢ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍۢ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And if you are in any doubt concerning what We have sent down upon Our distinguished bondman (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), bring forth a single surah (chapter) equal to it; and call upon all your supporters, other than Allah, if you are truthful.

اور اگر تمہیں کچھ شک ہو اس میں جو ہم نے اپنے (اس خاص) بندے (ف۳۷) پر اتارا تو اس جیسی ایک سورت تو لے آؤ (ف ۳۸) اور اللہ کے سوا، اپنے سب حمایتیوں کو بلالو، اگر تم سچے ہو ۔
فَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَلَن تَفْعَلُوا۟ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ ۖ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And if you are unable to bring forth (one chapter) – and We declare that you can never bring one – then fear the fire (of hell), the fuel of which is men and stones; kept ready for the disbelievers.

پھر اگر نہ لا سکو اور ہم فرمائے دیتے ہیں کہ ہرگز نہ لا سکو گے تو ڈرو اس آگ سے، جس کا ایندھن آدمی اور پتھر ہیں (ف ۳۹) تیار رکھی ہے کافروں کے لئے ۔ (ف٤۰)
وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍۢ رِّزْقًۭا ۙ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌۭ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ ۖ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good deeds; that for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; when they are provided with a fruit of the Gardens, they will say, “This is the same food as what was given to us before” whereas it is in resemblance; and in the Gardens are pure spouses for them; and they shall abide in it forever.

اور خوشخبری دے، انہیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کئے، کہ ان کے لئے باغ ہیں، جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں (ف٤۱) جب انہیں ان باغوں سے کوئی پھل کھانے کو دیا جائے گا، (صورت دیکھ کر) کہیں گے، یہ تو وہی رزق ہے جو ہمیں پہلے ملا تھا (ف٤۲) اور وہ (صورت میں) ملتا جلتا انہیں دیا گیا اور ان کے لئے ان باغوں میں ستھری بیبیاں ہیں (ف٤۳) اور وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے ۔ (ف٤٤)
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًۭا مَّا بَعُوضَةًۭ فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًۭا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِيرًۭا وَيَهْدِى بِهِۦ كَثِيرًۭا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed Allah does not, for the sake of explanation, shy to illustrate an example of anything, whether it is of a gnat or something further (inferior) than it; so the believers know it is the Truth from their Lord; as for the disbelievers, they say, “What does Allah intend by such an example?” He misleads many thereby, and He guides many thereby; and with it He misleads only those who are rebellious.

بیشک اللہ اس سے حیا نہیں فرماتا کہ مثال سمجھانے کو کیسی ہی چیز کا ذکر فرمائے مچھر ہو یا اس سے بڑھ کر (ف٤۵) تو وہ جو ایمان لائے، وہ تو جانتے ہیں کہ یہ ان کے رب کی طرف سے حق ہے (ف٤٦) رہے کافر، وہ کہتے ہیں ایسی کہاوت میں اللہ کا کیا مقصود ہے، اللہ بہتیروں کو اس سے گمراہ کرتا ہے (ف٤۷) اور بہتیروں کو ہدایت فرماتا ہے اور اس سے انہیں گمراہ کرتا ہے جو بے حکم ہیں ۔ (ف ٤۸)
ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it – and sever what Allah has ordered to join, and who cause turmoil (evil / religious chaos) in the earth; it is they who are the losers.

وہ جو اللہ کے عہد کو توڑ دیتے ہیں (ف٤۹) پکا ہونے کے بعد، اور کاٹتے ہیں اس چیز کو جس کے جوڑنے کا خدا نے حکم دیا ہے اور زمین میں فساد پھیلاتے ہیں (ف۵۰) وہی نقصان میں ہیں ۔
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَٰتًۭا فَأَحْيَٰكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٢٨
Kanzul Iman — English
What has made you disbelieve in Allah? Whereas you were dead and He gave you life; then He will give you death, then bring you to life again, and then it is to Him you will return!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بھلا تم کیونکر خدا کے منکر ہوگے، حالانکہ تم مردہ تھے اس نے تمہیں جِلایا پھر تمہیں مارے گا پھر تمہیں جِلائے گا پھر اسی کی طرف پلٹ کر جاؤ گے ۔ (ف۵۰ ۔ الف)
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ٢٩
Kanzul Iman — English
It is He Who created for you all that is in the earth; then He inclined towards the heaven, therefore fashioning it as proper seven heavens; and He knows everything.

وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لئے بنایا جو کچھ زمین میں ہے۔ (ف۵۱) پھر آسمان کی طرف استوا (قصد) فرمایا تو ٹھیک سات آسمان بنائے وہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے ۔ (ف۵۲)
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ٣٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels, “I am about to place My Caliph in the earth”; they said, “Will You place (as a caliph) one who will spread turmoil in it and shed blood? Whereas we glorify You with praise and proclaim Your Sanctity”; He said, “I know what you do not.”

اور یاد کرو جب تمہارے رب نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا، میں زمین میں اپنا نائب بنانے والا ہوں (ف۵۳) بولے کیا ایسے کو نائب کرے گا جو اس میں فساد پھیلائے گا اور خونریزیاں کرے گا (ف۵٤) اور ہم تجھے سراہتے ہوئے، تیری تسبیح کرتے اور تیری پاکی بولتے ہیں، فرمایا مجھے معلوم ہے جو تم نہیں جانتے ۔ (ف۵۵)
وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ٣١
Kanzul Iman — English
And Allah the Supreme taught Adam all the names (of things), then presented them to the angels, saying, “Tell Me the names of these, if you are truthful.”

اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے آدم کو تمام (اشیاء کے) نام سکھائے (ف۵٦) پھر سب (اشیاء) کو ملائکہ پر پیش کرکے فرمایا سچے ہو تو ان کے نام تو بتاؤ (ف۵۷)
قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ٣٢
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Purity is to You! We do not have any knowledge except what You have taught us! Indeed You only are the All Knowing, the Wise.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بولے پاکی ہے تجھے ہمیں کچھ علم نہیں مگر جتنا تو نے ہمیں سکھایا بیشک تو ہی علم و حکمت والا ہے ۔ (ف۵۸)
قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ٣٣
Kanzul Iman — English
He said “O Adam! Inform them the names”; and when Adam had informed them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know all the secrets of the heavens and the earth? And I know all what you disclose and all what you hide?”

فرمایا اے آدم بتا دے انہیں سب (اشیاء کے) نام جب اس نے (یعنی آدم نے) انہیں سب کے نام بتادیئے (ف۵۹) فرمایا میں نہ کہتا تھا کہ میں جانتا ہوں آسمانوں اور زمین کی سب چھپی چیزیں اور میں جانتا ہوں جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے اور جو کچھ تم چھپاتے ہو ۔ (ف٦۰)
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when We ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam, so they all prostrated, except Iblis (Satan – devil); he refused and was proud – and became a disbeliever.

اور (یاد کرو) جب ہم نے فرشتوں کو حکم دیا کہ آدم کو سجدہ کو تو سب نے سجدہ کیا سوائے ابلیس کے کہ منکر ہوا اور غرور کیا اور کافر ہوگیا ۔ (ف٦۱)
وَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And We said, “O Adam! You and your wife dwell in this Garden, and eat freely from it wherever you please – but do not approach this tree for you will become of those who transgress.”

اور ہم نے فرمایا اے آدم تو اور تیری بیوی جنت میں رہو اور کھاؤ اس میں سے بے روک ٹوک جہاں تمہارا جی چاہے مگر اس پیڑ کے پاس نہ جانا (ف٦۲) کہ حد سے بڑھنے والوں میں ہوجاؤ گے ۔ (ف٦۳)
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّۭ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
So the devil destabilised them in it and removed them from where they were – and We said, “Go down, one of you is an enemy to the other; and for a fixed time you shall stay on earth and feed in it.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو شیطان نے اس سے (یعنی جنت سے) انہیں لغزش دی اور جہاں رہتے تھے وہاں سے انہیں الگ کردیا (ف٦٤) اور ہم نے فرمایا نیچے اترو (ف٦۵) آپس میں ایک تمہارا دوسرے کا دشمن اور تمہیں ایک وقت تک زمین میں ٹھہرنا اور برتنا ہے ۔ (ف٦٦)
فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٍۢ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Then Adam learnt from his Lord certain words (of revelation), therefore Allah accepted his repentance; indeed He only is the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. (See Verse 7:23)

پھر سیکھ لیے آدم نے اپنے رب سے کچھ کلمے تو اللہ نے اس کی توبہ قبول کی (ف٦۷) بیشک وہی ہے بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان۔
قُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِنْهَا جَمِيعًۭا ۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًۭى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
We said, “Go down from Paradise, all of you; then if some guidance comes to you from Me – so whoever follows My guidance, for such is neither fear nor any grief.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ہم نے فرمایا تم سب جنت سے اتر جاؤ پھر اگر تمہارے پاس میری طرف سے کوئی ہدایت آئے تو جو میری ہدایت کا پیرو ہوا اسے نہ کوئی اندیشہ نہ کچھ غم ۔ (ف٦۸)
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs, are the people of fire (hell); they will remain in it forever.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور وہ جو کفر کریں گے اور میری آیتیں جھٹلائیں گے وہ دوزخ والے ہیں، ان کو ہمیشہ اس میں رہنا ۔
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِعَهْدِىٓ أُوفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَّٰىَ فَٱرْهَبُونِ٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
O Descendants of Israel (Jacob)! Remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant towards Me, I shall fulfil My covenant towards you; and fear Me alone.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے یعقوب کی اولاد (ف٦۹) یاد کرو میرا وہ احسان جو میں نے تم پر کیا (ف۷۰) اور میرا عہد پورا کرو میں تمہارا عہد پورا کروں گا (ف۷۱) اور خاص میرا ہی ڈر رکھو ۔ (ف۷۲)
وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍۭ بِهِۦ ۖ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِى ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا وَإِيَّٰىَ فَٱتَّقُونِ٤١
Kanzul Iman — English
And accept faith in what I have sent down (the Qur’an), which confirms what is with you (the Torah / Bible), and do not be the first to disbelieve in it – and do not exchange My verses for an abject – and fear Me alone.

اور ایمان لاؤ اس پر جو میں نے اتارا اس کی تصدیق کرتا ہوا جو تمہارے ساتھ ہے اور سب سے پہلے اس کے منکر نہ بنو (ف۷۳) اور میری آیتوں کے بدلے تھوڑے دام نہ لو (ف۷٤) اور مجھی سے ڈرو ۔
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ٤٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And do not mix the truth with falsehood, nor purposely conceal the truth.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور حق سے باطل کو نہ ملاؤ اور دیدہ و دانستہ حق نہ چھپاؤ ۔
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرْكَعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ٤٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer).
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور رکوع کرنے والوں کے ساتھ رکوع کرو ۔ (ف۷۵)
۞ أَتَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ٤٤
Kanzul Iman — English
What! You enjoin righteousness upon people while you forget (to practise it) yourselves, whereas you read the Book? Do you not have sense?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا لوگوں کو بھلائی کا حکم دیتے ہو اور اپنی جانوں کو بھولتے ہو حالانکہ تم کتاب پڑھتے ہو تو کیا تمہیں عقل نہیں ۔ (ف۷٦)
وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ٤٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور صبر اور نماز سے مدد چاہو اور بیشک نماز ضرور بھاری ہے مگر ان پر (نہیں) جو دل سے میری طرف جھکتے ہیں ۔ (ف۷۷)
ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ٤٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جنہیں یقین ہے کہ انہیں اپنے رب سے ملنا ہے اور اسی کی طرف پھرنا ۔ (ف۷۸)
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٤٧
Kanzul Iman — English
O Descendants of Israel! Remember the favour of Mine, which I bestowed upon you and gave you superiority over others of your time. (by sending the Noble Messengers to your nation)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے اولاد یعقوب یاد کرو میرا وہ احسان جو میں نے تم پر کیا اور یہ کہ اس سارے زمانہ پر تمہیں بڑائی دی ۔ (ف۷۹)
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ٤٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And fear the Day (of Resurrection) when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will any intercession be accepted for the disbelievers, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation nor will they be helped.

اور ڈرو اس دن سے جس دن کوئی جان دوسرے کا بدلہ نہ ہوسکے گی (ف۸۰) اور نہ (کافر کے لئے) کوئی سفارش مانی جائے اور نہ کچھ لے کر (اس کی) جان چھوڑی جائے اور نہ ان کی مدد ہو ۔ (ف۸۱)
وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌۭ٤٩
Kanzul Iman — English
(And remember) When We rescued you from Firaun’s people, for they were inflicting you with a dreadful torment, slaying your sons and sparing your daughters; that was a tremendous trial from your Lord (or a great reward).
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور (یاد کرو) جب ہم نے تم کو فرعون والوں سے نجات بخشی (ف۸۲) کہ وہ تم پر برا عذاب کرتے تھے (ف۸۳) تمہارے بیٹوں کو ذبح کرتے اور تمہاری بیٹیوں کو زندہ رکھتے (ف۸٤) اور اس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے بڑی بلا تھی (یا بڑا انعام) (ف۸۵)
وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَنجَيْنَٰكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ٥٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We split the sea for you thereby rescuing you, and drowned the Firaun's people in front of your eyes.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب ہم نے تمہارے لئے دریا پھاڑ دیا تو تمہیں بچالیا اور فرعون والوں کو تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے ڈبو دیا ۔ (ف۸٦)
وَإِذْ وَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ٥١
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We made a commitment with Moosa (Moses) for forty nights – then behind him you started worshipping the calf, and you were unjust.

اور جب ہم نے موسیٰ سے چالیس رات کا وعدہ فرمایا پھر اس کے پیچھے تم نے بچھڑے کی پوجا شروع کردی اور تم ظالم تھے ۔ (ف۸۷)
ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ٥٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Then after that We pardoned you so that you may be grateful.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر اس کے بعد ہم نے تمہیں معافی دی (ف۸۸) کہ کہیں تم احسان مانو ۔ (ف۸۹)
وَإِذْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ٥٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We gave Moosa the Book (Taurat / Torah) and the criterion to judge right from wrong, so that you may attain guidance.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب ہم نے موسیٰ کو کتاب عطا کی اور حق و باطل میں تمیز کر دینا کہ کہیں تم راہ آؤ ۔
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنفُسَكُم بِٱتِّخَاذِكُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ بَارِئِكُمْ فَٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ٥٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And when Moosa said to his people, “O my people! You have wronged yourselves by taking the calf,* therefore turn in repentance to your Creator, therefore kill each other; this is better for you before your Creator”; He therefore accepted your repentance; indeed He only is the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. (* as your deity for worship)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا اے میری قوم تم نے بچھڑا بنا کر اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا تو اپنے پیدا کرنے والے کی طرف رجوع لاؤ تو آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو قتل کردو (ف۹۰) یہ تمہارے پیدا کرنے والے کے نزدیک تمہارے لیے بہتر ہے تو اس نے تمہاری توبہ قبول کی بیشک وہی ہے بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان ۔ (ف ۹۱)
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللَّهَ جَهْرَةًۭ فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ٥٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And when you said “O Moosa! We will not believe you till we clearly see Allah”; so the thunder seized you while you were watching.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب تم نے کہا اے موسیٰ ہم ہرگز تمہارا یقین نہ لائیں گے جب تک اعلانیہ خدا کو نہ دیکھ لیں تو تمہیں کڑک نے آلیا اور تم دیکھ رہے تھے ۔
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَٰكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ٥٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Then We brought you back to life after your death, so that you may be grateful.

پھر مرے پیچھے ہم نے تمہیں زندہ کیا کہ کہیں تم احسان مانو ۔
وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ ۖ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ٥٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And We made the clouds a canopy for you and sent down Manna and Salwa (birds) on you; “Eat of the pure things We have provided you”; they did not wrong Us in the least, but indeed they wronged themselves.

اور ہم نے ابر کو تمہارا سائبان کیا (ف۹۲) اور تم پر من اور سلویٰ اتارا کھاؤ ہماری دی ہوئی ستھری چیزیں (ف۹۳) اور انہوں نے کچھ ہمارا نہ بگاڑا ہاں اپنی ہی جانوں کو بگاڑ کرتے تھے ۔ (ف۹٤) اور جب ہم نے فرمایا اس بستی میں جاؤ ۔
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًۭا وَٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْبَابَ سُجَّدًۭا وَقُولُوا۟ حِطَّةٌۭ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَٰيَٰكُمْ ۚ وَسَنَزِيدُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ٥٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We said, “Enter this town and eat freely from what is in it, and enter the gate whilst prostrating, and say, ‘May our sins be forgiven’ – We will forgive you your sins; and We will soon increase the reward for the righteous.”

پھر اس میں جہاں چاہو بے روک ٹوک کھاؤ اور دروازہ میں سجدہ کرتے داخل ہو (ف۹۵) اور کہو ہمارے گناہ معاف ہوں ہم تمہاری خطائیں بخش دیں گے اور قریب ہے کہ نیکی والوں کو اور زیادہ دیں ۔ (ف۹٦)
فَبَدَّلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رِجْزًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ٥٩
Kanzul Iman — English
But the unjust changed the word that had been ordered for another one, so We sent down a punishment on them from the skies, the recompense of their disobedience.

تو ظالموں نے اور بات بدل دی جو فرمائی گئی تھی اس کے سوا (ف۹۷) تو ہم نے آسمان سے ان پر عذاب اتارا (ف۹۸) بدلہ ان کی بےحکمی کا۔
۞ وَإِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ ۖ فَٱنفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًۭا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍۢ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۖ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ٦٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And when Moosa asked for water for his people, We said, “Strike this rock with your staff”; thereupon twelve springs gushed forth from it; each group recognised its drinking-place; “Eat and drink from what Allah has provided, and do not roam about the earth making turmoil in it.”

اور جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم کے لئے پانی مانگا تو ہم نے فرمایا اس پتھر پر اپنا عصا مارو فوراً اس میں سے بارہ چشمے بہ نکلے (ف۹۹) ہر گروہ نے اپنا گھاٹ پہچان لیا کھاؤ اور پیؤ خدا کا دیا (ف۱۰۰) اور زمین میں فساد اٹھاتے نہ پھرو (ف۱۰۱)
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍۢ وَٰحِدٍۢ فَٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنۢ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۖ قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ ٱلَّذِى هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِصْرًۭا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ وَٱلْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا۟ وَّكَانُوا۟ يَعْتَدُونَ٦١
Kanzul Iman — English
And when you said, “O Moosa! We shall never put up with only one kind of food, so call upon your Lord to produce for us what the earth grows – some herbs, cucumbers, corn, lentils and onions”; he said, “What! You wish to exchange the better for something inferior? Therefore settle down in Egypt or any city, where you will get what you demand”; and disgrace and misery were destined for them; and they returned towards Allah’s wrath; that was because they disbelieved in Allah’s signs and wrongfully martyred the Prophets; that was for their disobedience and transgression.

اور جب تم نے کہا اے موسیٰ (ف۱۰۲) ہم سے تو ایک کھانے پر (ف۱۰۳) ہرگز صبر نہ ہوگا تو آپ اپنے رب سے دعا کیجئے کہ زمین کی اگائی ہوئی چیزیں ہمارے لئے نکالے کچھ ساگ اور ککڑی اور گیہوں اور مسور اور پیاز فرمایا کیا ادنیٰ چیز کو بہتر کے بدلے مانگتے ہو (ف۱۰٤) اچھا مصر (ف۱۰۵) یا کسی شہر میں اترو وہاں تمہیں ملے گا جو تم نے مانگا (ف۱۰٦) اور ان پر مقرر کردی گئی خواری اور ناداری (ف۱۰۷) اور خدا کے غضب میں لوٹے (ف۱۰۸) یہ بدلہ تھا اس کا کہ وہ اللہ کی آیتوں کا انکار کرتے اور انبیاء کو ناحق شہید کرتے (ف۱۰۹) یہ بدلہ تھا ان کی نافرمانیوں اور حد سے بڑھنے کا ۔
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ٦٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed the believers (the Muslims) and those among the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabeans who sincerely accept faith in Allah and the Last Day* and do good deeds – their reward is with their Lord; and there shall be no fear upon them nor shall they grieve. (* i.e. convert to Islam)

بیشک ایمان والے نیز یہودیوں اور نصرانیوں اور ستارہ پرستوں میں سے وہ کہ سچے دل سے اللہ اور پچھلے دن پر ایمان لائیں اور نیک کام کریں ان کا ثواب ان کے رب کے پاس ہے اور نہ انہیں کچھ اندیشہ ہو اور نہ کچھ غم (ف۱۱۰)
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ٦٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We made a covenant with you and raised the Mount above you; “Accept and hold fast to what We give you, and remember what is in it, so that you may attain piety.”

اور جب ہم نے تم سے عہد لیا (ف۱۱۱) اور تم پر طور کو اونچا کیا (ف۱۱۲) لو جو کچھ ہم تم کو دیتے ہیں زور سے (ف۱۱۳) اور اس کے مضمون یاد کرو اس امید پر کہ تمہیں پرہیزگاری ملے ۔
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ٦٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Then after that, you turned away; and were it not for the munificence of Allah and His mercy, you would be among the losers.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر اس کے بعد تم پھر گئے تو اگر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت تم پر نہ ہوتی تو تم ٹوٹے والوں میں ہو جاتے ۔ (ف۱۱٤)
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱعْتَدَوْا۟ مِنكُمْ فِى ٱلسَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ٦٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And you certainly know of those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of Sabth (Sabbath – Saturday) – We therefore said to them, “Become apes, despised!”

اور بیشک ضرور تمہیں معلوم ہے تم میں کے وہ جنہوں نے ہفتہ میں سرکشی کی (ف۱۱۵) تو ہم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ ہوجاؤ بندر دھتکارے ہوئے ۔
فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا نَكَٰلًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ٦٦
Kanzul Iman — English
So We made this incident (of that town) a warning to the surrounding towns (others of their time) and to succeeding generations, and a lesson for the pious.

تو ہم نے (اس بستی کا) یہ واقعہ اس کے آگے اور پیچھے والوں کے لیے عبرت کردیا اور پرہیزگاروں کے لیے نصیحت ۔
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تَذْبَحُوا۟ بَقَرَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوًۭا ۖ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِٱللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ٦٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when Moosa said to his people, “Allah commands you to sacrifice a cow”; they said, “Are you making fun of us?” He answered, “Allah forbid that I should be of the ignorant!”

اور جب موسیٰ نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا خدا تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ ایک گائے ذبح کرو (ف۱۱٦) بولے کہ آپ ہمیں مسخرہ بناتے ہیں (ف۱۱۷) فرمایا خدا کی پناہ کہ میں جاہلوں سے ہوں ۔ (ف۱۱۸)
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِىَ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ لَّا فَارِضٌۭ وَلَا بِكْرٌ عَوَانٌۢ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَٱفْعَلُوا۟ مَا تُؤْمَرُونَ٦٨
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may describe the cow”; said Moosa, “He says that it is a cow neither old nor very young but between the two conditions; so do what you are commanded.”

بولے اپنے رب سے دعا کیجئے کہ وہ ہمیں بتا دے گائے کیسی کہا وہ فرماتا ہے کہ وہ ایک گائے ہے نہ بوڑھی اور نہ اَدسر بلکہ ان دونوں کے بیچ میں تو کرو جس کا تمہیں حکم ہوتا ہے
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ صَفْرَآءُ فَاقِعٌۭ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ ٱلنَّٰظِرِينَ٦٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may reveal its colour to us”; answered Moosa, “Indeed He says it is a yellow cow, of bright colour, pleasing to the beholders.”

بولے اپنے رب سے دعا کیجئے ہمیں بتا دے اس کا رنگ کیا ہے کہا وہ فرماتا ہے وہ ایک پیلی گائے ہے جس کی رنگ ڈہڈہاتی دیکھنے والوں کو خوشی دیتی
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِىَ إِنَّ ٱلْبَقَرَ تَشَٰبَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ٧٠
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may clearly describe the cow to us, we are really in a doubt as to which cow it is; and if Allah wills, we will attain guidance.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بولے اپنے رب سے دعا کیجئے کہ ہمارے لیے صاف بیان کردے وہ گائے کیسی ہے بیشک گائیوں میں ہم کو شبہ پڑگیا اور اللہ چاہے تو ہم راہ پا جائیں گے ۔ (ف۱۱۹)
قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ لَّا ذَلُولٌۭ تُثِيرُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِى ٱلْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌۭ لَّا شِيَةَ فِيهَا ۚ قَالُوا۟ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ جِئْتَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ٧١
Kanzul Iman — English
Said Moosa, “He says, ‘She is a cow not made to work, neither ploughing the soil nor watering the fields; flawless and spotless’; they said, “You have now conveyed the proper fact”; so they sacrificed it, but seemed not to be sacrificing it (with sincerity).

کہا وہ فرماتا ہے کہ وہ ایک گائے ہے جس سے خدمت نہیں لی جاتی کہ زمین جوتے اور نہ کھیتی کو پانی دے بے عیب ہے جس میں کوئی داغ نہیں بولے اب آپ ٹھیک بات لائے (ف ۱۲۰) تو اسے ذبح کیا اور (ذبح) کرتے معلوم نہ ہوتے تھے (ف۱۲۱)
وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًۭا فَٱدَّٰرَْٰٔتُمْ فِيهَا ۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُخْرِجٌۭ مَّا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ٧٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when you slew a man and were therefore accusing each other concerning it; and Allah wanted to expose what you were hiding.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب تم نے ایک خون کیا تو ایک دوسرے پر اس کی تہمت ڈالنے لگے اور اللہ کو ظاہر کرنا تھا جو تم چھپاتے تھے،
فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ٧٣
Kanzul Iman — English
We therefore said, “Strike the dead man with a part of the sacrificed cow”; this is how Allah will bring the dead to life, and shows you His signs so that you may understand!

تو ہم نے فرمایا اس مقتول کو اس گائے کا ایک ٹکڑا مارو (ف۱۲۲) اللہ یونہی مردے جلائے گا۔ اور تمہیں اپنی نشانیاں دکھاتا ہے کہ کہیں تمہیں عقل ہو (ف۱۲۳)
ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَهِىَ كَٱلْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةًۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ ٱلْمَآءُ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ٧٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Then after it, your hearts hardened – so they are like rocks, or even harder; for there are some rocks that rivers gush forth from them; and some that water flows from them when they split asunder; and there are rocks that fall down for the fear of Allah; and Allah is not unaware of your deeds.

پھر اس کے بعد تمہارے دل سخت ہوگئے (ف۱۲٤) تو وہ پتھروں کی مثل ہیں بلکہ ان سے بھی زیادہ کرّے اور پتھروں میں تو کچھ وہ ہیں جن سے ندیاں بہہ نکلتی ہیں اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو پھٹ جاتے ہیں تو ان سے پانی نکلتا ہے اور کچھ وہ ہیں جو اللہ کے ڈر سے گر پڑتے ہیں (ف۱۲۵) اور اللہ تمہارے کوتکوں سے بےخبر نہیں
۞ أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ٧٥
Kanzul Iman — English
So O Muslims, do you wish for the Jews to accept faith in you whereas a group of them used to listen to the Words of Allah, and then after having understood it, purposely changed it?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اے مسلمانو! کیا تمہیں یہ طمع ہے کہ یہ (یہودی) تمہارا یقین لائیں گے اور ان میں کا تو ایک گروہ وه تھا کہ اللہ کا کلام سنتے پھر سمجھنے کے بعد اسے دانستہ بدل دیتے، (ف۱۲٦)
وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ٧٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And when they meet the believers, they say, “We believe”; but when they are in isolation with one another they say, “You clarify to the believers from what Allah has disclosed to you, so that they may evidence it against you before your Lord? So have you no sense?”

اور جب مسلمانوں سے ملیں تو کہیں ہم ایمان لائے (ف۱۲۷) اور جب آپس میں اکیلے ہوں تو کہیں وہ علم جو اللہ نے تم پر کھولا مسلمانوں سے بیان کیے دیتے ہو کہ اس سے تمہارے رب کے یہاں تمہیں پر حجت لائیں کیا تمہیں عقل نہیں ۔
أَوَلَا يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ٧٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Do they not know that Allah knows all whatever they hide and whatever they disclose?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ اللہ جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ظاہر کرتے ہیں ۔
وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّآ أَمَانِىَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ٧٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And among them are the unlearned that do not know anything of the Book except to recite something therefrom or parts of their own fabrications; they are in absolute illusion.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان میں کچھ اَن پڑھ ہیں کہ جو کتاب (ف۱۲۸) کو نہیں جانتے مگر زبانی پڑھ لینا (ف۱۲۹) یا کچھ اپنی من گھڑت اور وہ نرے گمان میں ہیں ۔
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ لِيَشْتَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا ۖ فَوَيْلٌۭ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌۭ لَّهُم مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ٧٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore woe is to those who write the Book with their hands; and they then claim, “This is from Allah” in order to gain an abject (worldly) price for it; therefore woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn with it.

تو خرابی ہے ان کے لئے جو کتاب اپنے ہاتھ سے لکھیں پھر کہہ دیں یہ خدا کے پاس سے ہے کہ اس کے عوض تھوڑے دام حاصل کریں (ف۱۳۰) تو خرابی ہے ان کے لئے ان کے ہاتھوں کے لکھے سے اور خرابی ان کے لئے اس کمائی سے ۔
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًۭا مَّعْدُودَةًۭ ۚ قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ عَهْدًۭا فَلَن يُخْلِفَ ٱللَّهُ عَهْدَهُۥٓ ۖ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ٨٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And they said, “The fire will not touch us except for a certain number of days”; say, “Have you taken a covenant from Allah – then Allah will certainly not break His covenant – or do you say something concerning Allah what you do not know?”

اور بولے ہمیں تو آگ نہ چھوئے گی مگر گنتی کے دن (ف۱۳۱) تم فرما دو کیا خدا سے تم نے کوئی عہد لے رکھا ہے جب تو اللہ ہرگز اپنا عہد خلاف نہ کرے گا (ف۱۳۲) یا خدا پر وہ بات کہتے ہو جس کا تمہیں علم نہیں ۔
بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةًۭ وَأَحَٰطَتْ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ٨١
Kanzul Iman — English
Yes, why not?* The one who earns evil and his sin surrounds him; he is from the people of fire (hell); they will remain in it forever. (You will remain in the fire forever).
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ہاں کیوں نہیں جو گناہ کمائے اور اس کی خطا اسے گھیر لے (ف۱۳۳) وہ دوزخ والوں میں ہے انہیں ہمیشہ اس میں رہنا ۔
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ٨٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And those who believe and do good deeds – they are the People of Paradise; they will abide in it forever.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے وہ جنت والے ہیں انہیں ہمیشہ اس میں رہنا ۔
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًۭا وَذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَقُولُوا۟ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًۭا وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنتُم مُّعْرِضُونَ٨٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when We took a covenant from the Descendants of Israel that, “Do not worship anyone except Allah; and be good to parents, relatives, orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to people and keep the prayer established and pay the charity”; thereafter you retracted, except some of you; and you are those who turn away.

اور جب ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا کہ اللہ کے سوا کسی کو نہ پوجو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ بھلائی کرو، (ف۱۳٤) اور رشتہ داروں اور یتیموں اور مسکینوں سے اور لوگوں سے اچھی بات کہو (ف۱۳۵) اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو پھر تم پھر گئے (ف۱۳٦) مگر تم میں کے تھوڑے (ف۱۳۷) اور تم رد گردان ہو ۔ (ف۱۳۸)
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ٨٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We took a covenant from you that, “Do not shed the blood of your own people nor turn out your own people from your colonies”; you then acknowledged it and you are witnesses.

اور جب ہم نے تم سے عہد لیا کہ اپنوں کا خون نہ کرنا اور اپنوں کو اپنی بستیوں سے نہ نکالنا پھر تم نے اس کا اقرار کیا اور تم گواہ ہو ۔
ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِهِمْ تَظَٰهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَإِن يَأْتُوكُمْ أُسَٰرَىٰ تُفَٰدُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ ۚ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍۢ ۚ فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْىٌۭ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ٨٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Then it is you who began slaying each other and you drive out a group of your people from their homeland – providing support against them (to their opponents) through sin and injustice; and if they come to you as captives you redeem them, whereas their expulsion itself is forbidden to you; so do you believe in some of Allah’s commands and disbelieve in some? So what is the reward of those who do so, except disgrace in this world? And on the Day of Resurrection they will be assigned to the most grievous punishment; and Allah is not unaware of your deeds.

پھر یہ جو تم ہو اپنوں کو قتل کرنے لگے اور اپنے میں سے ایک گروہ کو ان کے وطن سے نکالتے ہو ان پر مدد دیتے ہو (ان کے مخالف کو) گناہ اور زیادتی میں اور اگر وہ قیدی ہو کر تمہارے پاس آئیں تو بدلا دے کر چھڑا لیتے ہو اور ان کا نکالنا تم پر حرام ہے (ف۱۳۹) تو کیا خدا کے کچھ حکموں پر ایمان لاتے ہو اور کچھ سے انکار کرتے ہو تو جو تم میں ایسا کرے اس کا بدلہ کیا ہے مگر یہ کہ دنیا میں رسوا ہو (ف۱٤۰) اور قیامت میں سخت تر عذاب کی طرف پھیرے جائیں گے اور اللہ تمہارے کوتکوں سے بےخبر نہیں ۔ (ف۱٤۱)
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ٨٦
Kanzul Iman — English
These are the people who bought the worldly life in exchange of the Hereafter – so their punishment will not be lightened, nor will they be helped.

یہ ہیں وہ لوگ جنہوں نے آخرت کے بدلے دنیا کی زندگی مول لی تو نہ ان پر سے عذاب ہلکا ہو اور نہ ان کی مدد کی جائے ۔
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ بِٱلرُّسُلِ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ ۗ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُكُمُ ٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقًۭا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقًۭا تَقْتُلُونَ٨٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed We gave Moosa (Moses) the Book and subsequent to him, sent Noble Messengers one after another – and We gave Eisa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear proofs and supported him with the Holy Spirit; so when a Noble Messenger from Allah comes to you bringing what you yourselves do not desire, you grow arrogant; so you disbelieve in a group of the Prophets and another group of Prophets you slay!

اور بیشک ہم نے موسیٰ کو کتاب عطا کی (ف۱٤٦) اور اس کے بعد پے درپے رسول بھیجے (ف ۱٤۳) اور ہم نے عیسیٰ بن مریم کو کھیلی نشانیاں عطا فرمائیں (ف۱٤٤) اور پاک روح سے (ف۱٤۵) اس کی مدد کی (ف۱٤٦) تو کیا جب تمہارے پاس کوئی رسول وہ لے کر آئے جو تمہارے نفس کی خواہش نہیں تکبر کرتے ہو تو ان (انبیاء) میں ایک گروہ کو تم جھٹلاتے ہو اور ایک گروہ کو شہید کرتے ہو ۔ (ف۱٤۷)
وَقَالُوا۟ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌۢ ۚ بَل لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلًۭا مَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ٨٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And the Jews said, “Our hearts are covered”; in fact Allah has cursed them because of their disbelief, so only a few of them accept faith.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور یہودی بولے ہمارے دلوں پر پردے پڑے ہیں (ف۱٤۸) بلکہ اللہ نے ان پر لعنت کی ان کے کفر کے سبب تو ان میں تھوڑے ایمان لاتے ہیں ۔ (ف۱٤۹)
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ كِتَٰبٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُوا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ فَلَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ٨٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And when the Book from Allah (the Holy Qu’ran) came to them, which confirms the Book in their possession (the Taurat / Torah) – and before that they used to seek victory through the medium of this very Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) over the disbelievers; so when the one whom they fully recognised (the Holy Prophet) came to them, they turned disbelievers – therefore Allah’s curse is upon the disbelievers.

اور جب ان کے پاس اللہ کی وہ کتاب (قرآن) آئی جو ان کے ساتھ والی کتاب (توریت) کی تصدیق فرماتی ہے (ف۱۵۰) اور اس سے پہلے وہ اسی نبی کے وسیلہ سے کافروں پر فتح مانگتے تھے (ف۱۵۱) تو جب تشریف لایا انکے پاس وہ جانا پہچانا اس سے منکر ہو بیٹھے (ف۱۵۲) تو اللہ کی لعنت منکروں پر ۔
بِئْسَمَا ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَىٰ غَضَبٍۢ ۚ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ٩٠
Kanzul Iman — English
How abject is the price for which they exchange their lives that they should disbelieve in what Allah has sent down, jealous that Allah should reveal of His grace to whomever He wills of His bondmen! So they deserved wrath upon wrath; and for the disbelievers is a disgraceful punishment.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کس برے مولوں انہوں نے اپنی جانوں کو خریدا کہ اللہ کے اتارے سے منکر ہوں (ف۱۵۳) اس کی جلن سے کہ اللہ اپنے فضل سے اپنے جس بندے پر چاہے وحی اتارلے (ف۱۵٤) تو غضب پر غضب کے سزاوار ہوئے (ف۱۵۵) اور کافروں کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب ہے ۔ (ف۱۵٦)
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُوا۟ نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَآءَهُۥ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنۢبِيَآءَ ٱللَّهِ مِن قَبْلُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ٩١
Kanzul Iman — English
And when it is said to them, “Believe in what Allah has sent down", they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us, and disbelieve in the rest” – whereas it is the Truth confirming what they possess! Say (to them, O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Why did you then martyr the earlier Prophets, if you believed in your Book?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب ان سے کہا جائے کہ اللہ کے اتارے پر ایمان لاؤ (ف۱۵۷) تو کہتے ہیں وہ جو ہم پر اترا اس پر ایمان لاتے ہیں (ف۱۵۸) اور باقی سے منکر ہوتے ہیں حالانکہ وہ حق ہے ان کے پاس والے کی تصدیق فرماتا ہوا (ف۱۵۹) تم فرماؤ کہ پھر اگلے انبیاء کو کیوں شہید کیا اگر تمہیں اپنی کتاب پر ایمان تھا ۔ (ف۱٦۰)
۞ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ٩٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Moosa came to you with clear signs, and after it you worshipped the calf – and you were unjust.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک تمہارے پاس موسیٰ کھلی نشانیاں لے کر تشریف لایا پھر تم نے اس کے بعد (ف۱٦۱) بچھڑے کو معبود بنالیا اور تم ظالم تھے ۔ (ف۱٦۲)
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۖ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنُكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ٩٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And remember when We made a covenant with you and raised the Mount Tur (Sinai) above you; “Accept and hold fast to what We give you, and listen”; they said, “We hear and we disobey”; and the calf was still embedded in their hearts because of their disbelief; say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “What an evil command is what your faith orders you, if you are believers!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور (یاد کرو) جب ہم نے تم سے پیمان لیا (ف۱٦۳) اور کوہ ِ طور کو تمہارے سروں پر بلند کیا ، لو جو ہم تمہیں دیتے ہیں زور سے اور سنو بولے ہم نے سنا اور نہ مانا اور ان کے دلوں میں بچھڑا رچ رہا تھا ان کے کفر کے سبب تم فرمادو کیا برا حکم دیتا ہے تم کو تمہارا ایمان اگر ایمان رکھتے ہو ۔ (ف۱٦٤)
قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَالِصَةًۭ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ٩٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “If the abode of the Hereafter in the sight of Allah is for you alone and none else, then long for death if you are truthful!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تم فرماؤ اگر پچھلا گھر اللہ کے نزدیک خالص تمہارے لئے ہو، نہ اوروں کے لئے تو بھلا موت کی آرزو تو کرو اگر سچے ہو ۔ (ف۱٦۵)
وَلَن يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ٩٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And they will never long for it, because of the evil deeds they have done in the past; and Allah knows the unjust, very well.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہرگز کبھی اس کی آرزو نہ کریں گے (ف۱٦٦) ان بد اعمالیوں کے سبب جو آگے کرچکے (ف۱٦۷) اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہے ظالموں کو ۔
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍۢ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ٩٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And you will surely find them the greediest among mankind for life; and (likewise) among the polytheists (idolaters); each one of them yearns to live a thousand years; and the grant of such age will not distance him from the punishment; and Allah is seeing their misdeeds.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک تم ضرور انہیں پاؤ گے کہ سب لوگوں سے زیادہ جینے کی ہوس رکھتے ہیں اور مشرکوں سے ایک کو تمنا ہے کہ کہیں ہزار برس جئے (ف۱٦۸) اور وہ اسے عذاب سے دور نہ کرے گا اتنی عمر دیا جانا اور اللہ ان کے کاموں کو دیکھ رہا ہے،
قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُۥ نَزَّلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٩٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Whoever is an enemy to Jibreel (Gabriel)” – for it is he who has brought down this Qu’ran to your heart by Allah’s command, confirming the Books before it, and a guidance and glad tidings to Muslims. –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تم فرمادو جو کوئی جبریل کا دشمن ہو (ف۱٦۹) تو اس (جبریل) نے تو تمہارے دل پر اللہ کے حکم سے یہ قرآن اتارا اگلی کتابوں کی تصدیق فرماتا اور ہدایت و بشارت مسلمانوں کو ۔ (ف۱۷۰)
مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّلَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَجِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَىٰلَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَدُوٌّۭ لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ٩٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“Whoever is an enemy to Allah, and His angels and His Noble Messengers, and Jibreel and Mikaeel (Michael) -, then (know that), Allah is an enemy of the disbelievers.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جو کوئی دشمن ہو اللہ اور اس کے فرشتوں اور اس کے رسولوں اور جبریل اور میکائیل کا تو اللہ دشمن ہے کافروں کا (ف۱۷۱)
وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ ۖ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ٩٩
Kanzul Iman — English
We have indeed sent down to you clear signs; and none will disbelieve in them except the sinners.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہم نے تمہاری طرف روشن آیتیں اتاریں (ف۱۷٦) اور ان کے منکر نہ ہوں گے مگر فاسق لوگ ۔
أَوَكُلَّمَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ عَهْدًۭا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُم ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ١٠٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And is it that whenever they make a covenant, only a group of them throws it aside? In fact, most of them do not have faith.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کیا جب کبھی کوئی عہد کرتے ہیں ان میں کا ایک فریق اسے پھینک دیتا ہے بلکہ ان میں بہتیروں کو ایمان نہیں ۔ (ف۱۷۳)
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ١٠١
Kanzul Iman — English
And when a Noble Messenger from Allah came to them, confirming the Book(s) which they possessed, a group of those who have received the Book(s) flung the Book of Allah behind their backs as if they were totally unaware!

اور جب ان کے پاس تشریف لایا اللہ کے یہاں سے ایک رسول (ف۱۷٤) ان کی کتابوں کی تصدیق فرماتا (ف۱۷۵) تو کتاب والوں سے ایک گروہ نے اللہ کی کتاب پیٹھ پیچھے پھینک دی (ف۱۷٦) گویا وہ کچھ علم ہی نہیں رکھتے ۔ (ف۱۷۷)
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَٰرُوتَ وَمَٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌۭ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا۟ لَمَنِ ٱشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍۢ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ١٠٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And they followed what the devils used to read during the rule of Sulaiman (Solomon – peace and blessings be upon him); and Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the devils disbelieved – they teach people magic; and that which was sent down to the two angels, Harut and Marut in Babylon; and the two (angels) never taught a thing to anyone until they used to say, “We are only a trial, therefore do not lose your faith” and they used to learn from them that by which they cause division between man and his wife; and they cannot harm anyone by it except by Allah’s command; and they learn what will harm them, not benefit them; and surely they know that whoever bargains for this will not have a share in the Hereafter; and for what an abject thing they have sold themselves; if only they knew!

اور اس کے پیرو ہوئے جو شیطان پڑھا کرتے تھے سلطنت سلیمان کے زمانہ میں (ف۱۷۸) اور سلیمان نے کفر نہ کیا (ف۱۷۹) ہاں شیطان کافر ہوئے (ف۱۸۰) لوگوں کو جادو سکھاتے ہیں اور وہ (جادو) جو بابل میں دو فرشتوں ہاروت و ماروت پر اترا اور وہ دونوں کسی کو کچھ نہ سکھاتے جب تک یہ نہ کہہ لیتے کہ ہم تو نری آزمائش ہیں تو اپنا ایمان نہ کھو (ف۱۸۱) تو ان سے سیکھتے وہ جس سے جدائی ڈالیں مرد اور اس کی عورت میں اور اس سے ضرر نہیں پہنچا سکتے کسی کو مگر خدا کے حکم سے (ف۱۸۲) اور وہ سیکھتے ہیں جو انہیں نقصان دے گا نفع نہ دے گا اور بیشک ضرور انہیں معلوم ہے کہ جس نے یہ سودا لیا آخرت میں اس کا کچھ حصہ نہیں اور بیشک کیا بری چیز ہے وہ جس کے بدلے انہوں نے اپنی جانیں بیچیں کسی طرح انہیں علم ہوتا ۔ (ف۱۸۳)
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَمَثُوبَةٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ١٠٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And had they believed and been pious, then the recompense from Allah is extremely good; if only they knew!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اگر وہ ایمان لاتے (ف۱۸٤) اور پرہیزگاری کرتے تو اللہ کے یہاں کا ثواب بہت اچھا ہے کسی طرح انہیں علم ہوتا ۔
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقُولُوا۟ رَٰعِنَا وَقُولُوا۟ ٱنظُرْنَا وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۗ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ١٠٤
Kanzul Iman — English
O People who Believe, do not say (to the Prophet Mohammed- peace and blessings be upon him), “Raena (Be considerate towards us)” but say, “Unzurna (Look mercifully upon us)", and listen attentively from the start; and for the disbelievers is a painful punishment. (To disrespect the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him – is blasphemy.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے ایمان والو! (ف۱۸۵) راعنا نہ کہو اور یوں عرض کرو کہ حضور ہم پر نظر رکھیں اور پہلے ہی سے بغور سنو (ف۱۸٦) اور کافروں کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے ۔ (ف۱۸۷)
مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ١٠٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Those who disbelieve – the People given the Book(s) or the polytheists – do not wish that any good be sent down upon you from your Lord; and Allah chooses whomever He wills by His Mercy; and Allah is the Most Munificent.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ جو کافر ہیں کتابی یا مشرک (ف۱۸۸) وہ نہیں چاہتے کہ تم پر کوئی بھلائی اترے تمہارے رب کے پاس سے (ف۱۸۹) اور اللہ اپنی رحمت سے خاص کرتا ہے جسے چاہے اور اللہ بڑے فضل والا ہے ۔
۞ مَا نَنسَخْ مِنْ ءَايَةٍ أَوْ نُنسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍۢ مِّنْهَآ أَوْ مِثْلِهَآ ۗ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ١٠٦
Kanzul Iman — English
When We abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We will bring one better than it or one similar; do you not know that Allah is Able to do all things?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جب کوئی آیت منسوخ فرمائیں یا بھلا دیں (ف۱۹۰) تو اس سے بہتر یا اس جیسی لے آئیں گے کیا تجھے خبر نہیں کہ اللہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے ۔
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ١٠٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Do you not know that for Allah only is the kingship of the heavens and the earth? And except Allah, you have neither a protector nor any supporter?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا تجھے خبر نہیں کہ اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی اور اللہ کے سوا تمہارا نہ کوئی حمایتی نہ مددگار،
أَمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَسْـَٔلُوا۟ رَسُولَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ ٱلْكُفْرَ بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ١٠٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Do you wish to ask your Noble Messenger a question similar to what Moosa was asked before? And whoever chooses disbelief instead of faith has gone astray from the Right Path.

کیا یہ چاہتے ہو کہ اپنے رسول سے ویسا سوال کرو جو موسیٰ سے پہلے ہوا تھا (ف۱۹۱) اور جو ایمان کے بدلے کفر لے (ف۱۹۲) وہ ٹھیک راستہ بہک گیا ۔
وَدَّ كَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمَٰنِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًۭا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَٱعْفُوا۟ وَٱصْفَحُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ١٠٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Many among People given the Book(s) wished to turn you to disbelief after you had accepted faith; out of hearts’ envy, after the truth has become very clear to them; so leave them and be tolerant, until Allah brings His command; indeed Allah is Able to do all things.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بہت کتابیوں نے چاہا (ف۱۹۳) کاش تمہیں ایمان کے بعد کفر کی طرف پھیر دیں اپنے دلوں کی جلن سے (ف۱۹٤) بعد اس کے کہ حق ان پر خوب ظاہر ہوچکا ہے تو تم چھوڑو اور درگزر کرو یہاں تک کہ اللہ اپنا حکم لائے بیشک اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ۔
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ١١٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And keep the prayer established, and pay the charity; and whatever good you send ahead for yourselves, you will find it with Allah; indeed Allah is seeing your deeds.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو (ف۱۹۵) اور اپنی جانوں کے لئے جو بھلائی آگے بھیجو گے اسے اللہ کے یہاں پاؤ گے بیشک اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے ۔
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن يَدْخُلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَن كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ ۗ تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ١١١
Kanzul Iman — English
And the People given the Book(s) said, “None will enter Paradise unless he is a Jew or a Christian”; these are their own imaginations; say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Bring your proof, if you are truthful.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اہل کتاب بولے ، ہرگز جنت میں نہ جائے گا مگر وہ جو یہودی یا نصرانی ہو (ف۱۹٦) یہ ان کی خیال بندیاں ہیں تم فرماؤ لاؤ اپنی دلیل (ف۱۹۷) اگر سچے ہو ۔
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌۭ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ١١٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Yes, why not? Whoever submits his face for the sake of Allah, and is virtuous, his reward is with his Lord; and there shall be no fear upon them nor shall they grieve.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ہاں کیوں نہیں جس نے اپنا منہ جھکایا اللہ کے لئے اور وہ نیکو کار ہے (ف۱۹۸) تو اس کا نیگ اس کے رب کے پاس ہے اور انہیں کچھ اندیشہ ہو اور نہ کچھ غم ۔ (ف۱۹۹)
وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ لَيْسَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ١١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And the Jews said, “The Christians are nothing” – and the Christians said, “The Jews are nothing” whereas they both read the Book; and the ignorant spoke similarly; so Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning the matter in which they dispute.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور یہودی بولے نصرانی کچھ نہیں اور نصرانی بولے یہودی کچھ نہیں (ف۲۰۰) حالانکہ وہ کتاب پڑھتے ہیں، (ف۲۰۱) اسی طرح جاہلوں نے ان کی سی بات کہی (ف۲۰۲) تو اللہ قیامت کے دن ان میں فیصلہ کردے گا جس بات میں جھگڑ رہے ہیں ۔
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِى خَرَابِهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌۭ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ١١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And who is more unjust than one who prevents the name of Allah being mentioned in the mosques, and strives for their ruin? It did not befit them to enter the mosques except in fear; for them is disgrace in this world, and a terrible punishment in the Hereafter.

اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون (ف۲۰۳) جو اللہ کی مسجدوں کو روکے ان میں نام خدا لئے جانے سے (ف۲۰٤) اور ان کی ویرانی میں کوشش کرے (ف۲۰۵) ان کو نہ پہنچتا تھا کہ مسجدوں میں جائیں مگر ڈرتے ہوئے ان کے لئے دنیا میں رسوائی ہے (ف۲۰٦) اور ان کے لئے آخرت میں بڑا عذاب ۔ (ف۲۰۷)
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا۟ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ١١٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And the East and the West, all belong to Allah – so whichever direction you face, there is Allah’s Entity (Allah’s Mercy is directed towards you); indeed Allah is the All Capable, (His powers and reach are limitless), the All Knowing.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور پورب و پچھم سب اللہ ہی کا ہے تو تم جدھر منہ کرو ادھر وجہ اللہ (خدا کی رحمت تمہاری طرف متوجہ) ہے بیشک اللہ وسعت والا علم والا ہے،
وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَدًۭا ۗ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۖ بَل لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥ قَٰنِتُونَ١١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And they said, “Allah has taken an offspring for Himself” – Purity is to Him! In fact, all that is in the heavens and the earth, is His dominion; all are submissive to Him.

اور بولے خدا نے اپنے لیے اولاد رکھی پاکی ہے اسے (ف۲۰۸) بلکہ اسی کی مِلک ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے (ف۲۰۹) سب اس کے حضور گردن ڈالے ہیں،
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ١١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
The Originator of the heavens and the earth – and when He commands a thing, He only says to it, “Be", and it thereupon happens.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
نیا پیدا کرنے والا آسمانوں اور زمین کا (ف۲۱۰) اور جب کسی بات کا حکم فرمائے تو اس سے یہی فرماتا ہے کہ ہو جا وہ فورا ً ہوجاتی ہے ۔ (ف۲۱۱)
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ لَوْلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا ٱللَّهُ أَوْ تَأْتِينَآ ءَايَةٌۭ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۘ تَشَٰبَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ١١٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And the ignorant people said, “Why does not Allah speak to us, or some sign come to us?” Those before them had also spoken in the same way as they speak; their hearts (and of those before them) are all alike; undoubtedly, We have made the signs clear for the people who have faith.

اور جاہل بولے (ف۲۱۲) اللہ ہم سے کیوں نہیں کلام کرتا (ف۲۱۳) یا ہمیں کوئی نشانی ملے (ف۲۱٤) ان سے اگلوں نے بھی ایسی ہی کہی ان کی سی بات ان کے انکے دل ایک سے ہیں (ف۲۱۵) بیشک ہم نے نشانیاں کھول دیں یقین والوں کے لئے ۔ (ف۲۱٦)
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِيرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ١١٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Undoubtedly, We have sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth, giving glad tidings and conveying warning, and you will not be questioned about the people of hell.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک ہم نے تمہیں حق کے ساتھ بھیجا خوشخبری دیتا اور ڈر سناتا اور تم سے دوزخ والوں کا سوال نہ ہوگا ۔ (ف۲۱۷)
وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ١٢٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And never will the Jews or the Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their religion; say, “The guidance of Allah only is the (true) guidance”; and were you (the followers of this Prophet) to follow their desires after the knowledge has come to you, you would then not have a protector or aide against Allah.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہرگز تم سے یہود اور نصاری ٰ راضی نہ ہوں گے جب تک تم ان کے دین کی پیروی نہ کرو (ف۲۱۸) تم فرمادو اللہ ہی کی ہدایت ہدایت ہے (ف۲۱۹) اور (اے سننے والے کسے باشد) اگر تو ان کی خواہشوں کا پیرو ہوا بعد اس کے کہ تجھے علم آچکا تو اللہ سے تیرا کوئی بچانے والا نہ ہوگا اور نہ مددگار (ف۲۲۰)
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَتْلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ١٢١
Kanzul Iman — English
Those to whom We have given the Book, read it in the manner it should be read; it is they who believe in it; and those who deny it – it is they who are the losers.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جنہیں ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وہ جیسی چاہئے اس کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں وہی اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور جو اس کے منکر ہوں تو وہی زیاں کار ہیں ۔ (ف۲۲۱)
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٢٢
Kanzul Iman — English
O Descendants of Israel! Remember the favour of Mine which I bestowed upon you and made you superior to all others of your time. (By sending Noble Messengers among you).
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے اولاد یعقوب یاد کرو میرا احسان جو میں نے تم پر کیا اور وہ جو میں نے اس زمانہ کے سب لوگوں پر تمہیں بڑائی دی ۔
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ١٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And fear the day when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation, nor will any intercession benefit the disbelievers, nor will they be helped.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ڈرو اس دن سے کہ کوئی جان دوسرے کا بدلہ نہ ہوگی اور نہ اس کو کچھ لے کر چھوڑیں اور نہ کافر کو کوئی سفارش نفع دے (ف۲۲۲) اور نہ ان کی مدد ہو ۔
۞ وَإِذِ ٱبْتَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٍۢ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّى جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًۭا ۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ١٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) Lord tested him in some matters and he fulfilled them; He said, “I am going to appoint you as a leader for mankind”; invoked Ibrahim, “And of my offspring”; He said, “My covenant does not include the unjust (wrong-doers).”

اور جب (ف۲۲۳) ابراہیم کو اس کے رب نے کچھ باتوں سے آزمایا (ف۲۲٤) تو اس نے وہ پوری کر دکھائیں (ف۲۲۵) فرمایا میں تمہیں لوگوں کا پیشوا بنانے والا ہوں عرض کی اور میری اولاد سے فرمایا میرا عہد ظالموں کو نہیں پہنچتا ۔ (ف۲۲٦)
وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ مُصَلًّۭى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ١٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And remember when We made this House (at Mecca) a recourse for mankind and a sanctuary; and take the place where Ibrahim stood, as your place of prayer; and We imposed a duty upon Ibrahim and Ismail (Ishmael), to fully purify My house for those who go around it, and those who stay in it (for worship), and those who bow down and prostrate themselves.

اور (یاد کرو) جب ہم نے اس گھر کو (ف۲۲۷) لوگوں کے لئے مرجع اور امان بنایا (ف۲۲۸) اور ابراہیم کے کھڑے ہونے کی جگہ کو نماز کا مقام بناؤ (ف۲۲۹) اور ہم نے تاکید فرمائی ابراہیم و اسماعیل کو کہ میرا گھر خوب ستھرا کرو طواف کرنے والوں اور اعتکاف والوں اور رکوع و سجود والوں کے لئے ۔
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًۭا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ١٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when Ibrahim prayed, “My Lord! Make this city a place of security and bestow upon its people various fruits as providence – for those among them who believe in Allah and the Last Day (of Resurrection)”; He answered, “And whoever disbelieves, I shall provide him also some subsistence and then compel him towards the punishment of fire (hell); and that is a wretched place to return.”

اور جب عرض کی ابراہیم نے کہ اے میرے رب اس شہر کو امان والا کردے اور اس کے رہنے والوں کو طرح طرح کے پھلوں سے روزی دے جو ان میں سے اللہ اور پچھلے دن پر ایمان لائیں (ف۲۳۰) فرمایا اور جو کافر ہوا تھوڑا برتنے کو اسے بھی دوں گا پھر اسے عذاب دوزخ کی طرف مجبور کردوں گا اور بہت بری جگہ ہے پلٹنے کی ۔
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ١٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And (remember) when Ibrahim was raising the foundations of the House, along with Ismail; (saying), “Our Lord! Accept it from us; indeed You only are the All Hearing, the All Knowing.”

اور جب اٹھاتا تھا ابراہیم اس گھر کی نیویں اور اسماعیل یہ کہتے ہوئے اے رب ہمارے ہم سے قبول فرما (ف۲۳۱) بیشک تو ہی ہے سنتا جانتا ،
رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ١٢٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“Our Lord! And make us submissive towards you and from our offspring a nation obedient to You – and show us the ways of our worship, and incline towards us with Your mercy; indeed You only are the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful.”

اے رب ہمارے اور کر ہمیں تیرے حضور گردن رکھنے والا (ف۲۳۲) اور ہماری اولاد میں سے ایک امت تیری فرمانبردار اور ہمیں ہماری عبادت کے قاعدے بتا اور ہم پر اپنی رحمت کے ساتھ رجوع فرما (ف۲۳۳) بیشک تو ہی ہے بہت توبہ قبول کرنے والا مہربان۔
رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ١٢٩
Kanzul Iman — English
“Our Lord! And send towards them a Noble Messenger, from amongst them, to recite to them Your verses, and to instruct them in Your Book and sound wisdom*, and to fully purify them; indeed You only are the Almighty, the Wise.” (The traditions of the Holy Prophet – sunnah and hadith – are called wisdom.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے رب ہمارے اور بھیج ان میں (ف۲۳٤) ایک رسول انہیں میں سے کہ ان پر تیری آیتیں تلاوت فرمائے اور انہیں تیری کتاب (ف۲۳۵) اور پختہ علم سکھائے (ف۲۳٦) اور انہیں خوب ستھرا فرمادے (ف۲۳۷) بیشک تو ہی ہے غالب حکمت والا ۔
وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَقَدِ ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ١٣٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And who will renounce the religion of Ibrahim except him who is a fool at heart? We indeed chose him (Ibrahim) in this world; and indeed in the Hereafter he is among those worthy of being closest to Us.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ابراہیم کے دین سے کون منہ پھیرے (ف۲۳۸) سوا اس کے جو دل کا احمق ہے اور بیشک ضرور ہم نے دنیا میں اسے چن لیا (ف۲۳۹) اور بیشک وہ آخرت میں ہمارے خاص قرب کی قابلیت والوں میں ہے ۔ (ف۲٤۰)
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٣١
Kanzul Iman — English
When his Lord said to him, “Submit”, he said, “I have submitted to the Lord Of The Creation.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جبکہ اس سے اس کے رب نے فرمایا گردن رکھ عرض کی میں نے گردن رکھی اس کے لئے جو رب ہے سارے جہان کا ۔
وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَآ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَٰبَنِىَّ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ١٣٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And Ibrahim willed the same religion upon his sons, and also did Yaqub (Jacob); (saying), “O my sons – indeed Allah has chosen this religion for you; therefore do not die except as Muslims (those who submit to Him).”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اسی دین کی وصیت کی ابراہیم نے اپنے بیٹوں کو اور یعقوب نے کہ اے میرے بیٹو! بیشک اللہ نے یہ دین تمہارے لئے چن لیا تو نہ مرنا مگر مسلمان ۔
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِى قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ ءَابَآئِكَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًۭا وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ١٣٣
Kanzul Iman — English
In fact, some of you yourselves were present when death approached Yaqub and when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We shall worship Him Who is your God, and is the God of your fathers, Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq (Isaac) – the One God; and to Him we have submitted ourselves.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ تم میں کے خود موجود تھے (ف۲٤۱) جب یعقوب کو موت آئی جبکہ اس اپنے بیٹوں سے فرمایا میرے بعد کس کی پوجا کرو گے بولے ہم پوجیں گے اسے جو خدا ہے آپ کا اور آپ کے آباء ابراہیم و اسماعیل (ف۲٤۲) و اسحاق کا ایک خدا اور ہم اس کے حضور گردن رکھے ہیں،
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ١٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
This was a nation that has passed away; for them is what they earned, and yours is what you earn; and you will not be questioned about their deeds.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یہ (ف۲٤۳) ایک امت ہے کہ گزر چکی (ف۲٤٤) ان کے لیے ہے جو انہوں نے کمایا اور تمہارے لئے ہے جو تم کماؤ اور ان کے کاموں کی تم سے پرسش نہ ہوگی ۔
وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ١٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And the People given the Book(s) said, “Become Jews or Christians – you will attain the right path”; say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “No – rather we take the religion of Ibrahim, who was far removed from all falsehood; and was not of the polytheists.”

اور کتابی بولے (ف۲٤۵) یہودی یا نصرانی ہوجاؤ راہ پاؤ گے تم فرماؤ بلکہ ہم تو ابراہیم کا دین لیتے ہیں جو ہر باطل سے جدا تھے اور مشرکوں سے نہ تھے ۔ (ف۲٤٦)
قُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ١٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Say, “We believe in Allah and what is sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim, and Ismael, and Ishaq, and Yaqub, and to their offspring, and what was bestowed upon Moosa and Eisa (Jesus), and what was bestowed upon other Prophets – from their Lord; we do not make any distinction, in belief, between any of them; and to Allah we have submitted ourselves.”

یوں کہو کہ ہم ایمان لائے اللہ پر اس پر جو ہماری طرف اترا اور جو اتارا گیا ابراہیم و اسماعیل و اسحاق و یعقوب اور ان کی اولاد پر اور جو عطا کئے گئے موسیٰ و عیسیٰ اور جو عطا کئے گئے باقی انبیاء اپنے رب کے پاس سے ہم ان پر ایمان میں فرق نہیں کرتے اور ہم اللہ کے حضور گردن رکھے ہیں ۔
فَإِنْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ مَآ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ فَقَدِ ٱهْتَدَوا۟ ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِى شِقَاقٍۢ ۖ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ١٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And if they believe in the same way you have believed, they have attained guidance; and if they turn away, they are clearly being stubborn; so Allah will soon suffice you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) against them; and He only is the All Hearing, the All Knowing.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر اگر وہ بھی یونہی ایمان لائے جیسا تم لائے جب تو وہ ہدایت پاگئے اور اگر منہ پھیریں تو وہ نری ضد میں ہیں (ف۲٤۷) تو اے محبوب! عنقریب اللہ ان کی طرف سے تمہیں کفایت کرے گا اور وہی ہے سنتا جانتا ۔ (ف۲٤۸)
صِبْغَةَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ صِبْغَةًۭ ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ عَٰبِدُونَ١٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“We have taken the colour (religion) of Allah; and whose colour (religion) is better than that of Allah? And only Him do we worship.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ہم نے اللہ کی رینی (رنگائی) لی (ف۲٤۹) اور اللہ سے بہتر کس کی رینی؟ (رنگائی) اور ہم اسی کو پوجتے ہیں،
قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُخْلِصُونَ١٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “What! You dispute with us concerning Allah, whereas He is our Lord and also yours? Our deeds are with us and with you are your deeds; and only to Him do we sincerely belong.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تم فرماؤ اللہ کے بارے میں جھگڑتے ہو (ف۲۵۰) حالانکہ وہ ہمارا بھی مالک ہے اور تمہارا بھی (ف۲۵۱) اور ہماری کرنی (ہمارے اعمال) ہمارے ساتھ اور تمہاری کرنی (تمہارے اعمال) تمہارے ساتھ اور ہم نرے اسی کے ہیں ۔ (ف۲۵۲)
أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ ۗ قُلْ ءَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ١٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“In fact you claim that Ibrahim, and Ismail, and Ishaq, and Yaqub, and their offspring were Jews or Christians”; say, “Do you know better, or does Allah?”; and who is more unjust than one who has the testimony from Allah and he hides it? And Allah is not unaware of your deeds.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ تم یوں کہتے ہو کہ ابراہیم و اسمٰعیل و اسحاق و یعقوب اور ان کے بیٹے یہودی یا نصرانی تھے، تم فرماؤ کیا تمہیں علم زیادہ ہے یا اللہ کو (ف۲۵۳) اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون جس کے پاس اللہ کی طرف کی گواہی ہو اور وہ اسے چھپائے (ف ۲۵٤) اور خدا تمہارے کوتکوں (برے اعمال) سے بےخبر نہیں ۔
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ١٤١
Kanzul Iman — English

وہ ایک گروہ ہے کہ گزر گیا ان کے لئے ان کی کمائی اور تمہارے لئے تمہاری کمائی اور ان کے کاموں کی تم سے پرسش نہ ہوگی۔
