يسٓ
رسول کا نام
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
يسٓ١

یسٰں
وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ٢
Kanzul Iman — English
By oath of the wise Qur’an.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
حکمت والے قرآن کی قسم،
إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ٣
Kanzul Iman — English
You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers.

بیشک تم (ف۲)
عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ٤
Kanzul Iman — English
On the Straight Path.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
سیدھی راہ پر بھیجے گئے ہو (ف۳)
تَنزِيلَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ٥
Kanzul Iman — English
(The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
عزت والے مہربان کا اتارا ہوا،
لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًۭا مَّآ أُنذِرَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ٦
Kanzul Iman — English
So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware.

تاکہ تم اس قوم کو ڈر سناؤ جس کے باپ دادا نہ ڈرائے گئے (ف٤) تو وہ بےخبر ہیں،
لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe.

بیشک ان میں اکثر پر بات ثابت ہوچکی ہے (ف۵) تو وہ ایمان نہ لائیں گے (ف٦)
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ٨
Kanzul Iman — English
We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards.

ہم نے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق کردیے ہیں کہ وہ ٹھوڑیوں تک ہیں تو یہ اوپر کو منہ اٹھائے رہ گئے (ف۷)
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنۢ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّۭا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّۭا فَأَغْشَيْنَٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything.

اور ہم نے ان کے آگے دیوار بنادی اور ان کے پیچھے ایک دیوار اور انہیں اوپر سے ڈھانک دیا تو انہیں کچھ نہیں سوجھتا (ف۸)
وَسَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ١٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe.

اور انہیں ایک سا ہے تم انہیں ڈراؤٕ یا نہ ڈراؤ وہ ایمان لانے کے نہیں،
إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكْرَ وَخَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ وَأَجْرٍۢ كَرِيمٍ١١
Kanzul Iman — English
You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward.

تم تو اسی کو ڈر سناتے ہو (ف۹) جو نصیحت پر چلے اور رحمن سے بےدیکھے ڈرے، تو اسے بخشش اور عزت کے ثواب کی بشارت دو (ف۱۰)
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ١٢
Kanzul Iman — English
We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book.

بیشک ہم مردوں کو جِلائیں گے اور ہم لکھ رہے ہیں جو انہوں نے آگے بھیجا (ف۱۱) اور جو نشانیاں پیچھے چھوڑ گئے (ف۱۲) اور ہر چیز ہم نے گن رکھی ہے ایک بتانے والی کتاب میں (ف۱۳)
وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَآءَهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And relate to them the signs of the people of the city – when two emissaries came to them.

اور ان سے نشانیاں بیان کرو اس شہر والوں کی (ف۱٤) جب ان کے پاس فرستادے (رسول) آئے، (ف۱۵)
إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍۢ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
When We had sent two towards them and they denied them both, so We fortified them with a third, and they all said, “Indeed we have been sent to you.”

جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو بھیجے (ف۱٦) پھر انہوں نے ان کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے تیسرے سے زور دیا (ف۱۷) اب ان سب نے کہا (ف۱۸) کہ بیشک ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں،
قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌۭ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ١٥
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “You are nothing but mortals like us; the Most Gracious has not sent down anything – you are nothing but liars.”

بولے تم تو نہیں مگر ہم جیسے آدمی اور رحمن نے کچھ نہیں اتارا تم نرے جھوٹے ہو،
قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
They answered, “Our Lord knows that surely, without doubt, we have been sent towards you.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ بولے ہمارا رب جانتا ہے کہ بیشک ضرور ہم تمہاری طرف بھیجے گئے ہیں،
وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“And our duty is nothing but to plainly convey (the message).”

اور ہمارے ذمہ نہیں مگر صاف پہنچا دینا (ف۱۹)
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ١٨
Kanzul Iman — English
They (the people of the city) said, “We think you are ominous; indeed, if you do not desist, we shall surely stone you to death, and you will surely face a grievous torture at our hands.”

بولے ہم تمہیں منحوس سمجھتے ہیں (ف۲۰) بیشک اگر تم باز نہ آئے (ف۲۱) تو ضرور ہم تمہیں سنگسار کریں گے بیشک ہمارے ہاتھوں تم پر دکھ کی مار پڑے گی،
قَالُوا۟ طَٰٓئِرُكُم مَّعَكُمْ ۚ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌۭ مُّسْرِفُونَ١٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Your evil omens are with you! What! You get annoyed for being advised? In fact you are a people who transgress the limits!”

انہوں نے فرمایا تمہاری نحوست تو تمہارے ساتھ ہے (ف۲۲) کیا اس پر بدکتے ہو کہ تم سمجھائے گئے (ف۲۳) بلکہ تم حد سے بڑھنے والے لوگ ہو (ف۲٤)
وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌۭ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ٢٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And from the outermost part of the city came a man running; he said, “O my people! Obey those who have been sent.”

اور شہر کے پرلے کنارے سے ایک مرد دوڑتا آیا (ف۲۵) بولا، اے میری قوم! بھیجے ہوؤں کی پیروی کرو،
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًۭا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ٢١
Kanzul Iman — English
“Obey those who do not ask any fee from you, and they are on guidance.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ایسوں کی پیروی کرو جو تم سے کچھ نیگ (اجر) نہیں مانگتے اور وہ راہ پر ہیں،
وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٢٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“And what is the matter with me that I should not worship Him Who created me, whereas it is towards Him that you are to return?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
۔ (۲۲) (ف۲٦) اور مجھے کیا ہے کہ اس کی بندگی نہ کروں جس نے مجھے پیدا کیا اور اسی کی طرف تمہیں پلٹنا ہے، (ف۲۷)
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّۢ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
“What! Shall I appoint Gods other than Allah? So that if the Most Gracious should wish me any harm, their intercession would be of no use to me, nor would they be able to save me?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا اللہ کے سوا اور خدا ٹھہراؤں (ف۲۸) کہ اگر رحمٰن میرا کچھ برا چاہے تو ان کی سفارش میرے کچھ کام نہ آئے اور نہ وہ مجھے بچاسکیں،
إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
“Undoubtedly, I am then in open error.”

بیشک جب تو میں کھلی گمراہی میں ہو (ف۲۹)
إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“Indeed I have believed in your Lord, so heed me.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مقرر میں تمہارے رب پر ایمان لایا تو میری سنو (ف۳۰)
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
It was said to him, “Enter Paradise”; he said, “If only my people knew!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس سے فرمایا گیا کہ جنت میں داخل ہو (ف۳۱) کہا کسی طرح میری قوم جانتی،
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“The manner in which my Lord has pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جیسی میرے رب نے میری مغفرت کی اور مجھے عزت والوں میں کیا (ف۳۲)
۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ٢٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And after him, We did not send down any army from heaven against his people, nor did We intend to send down an army.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر آسمان سے کوئی لشکر نہ اتارا (ف۳۳) اور نہ ہمیں وہاں کوئی لشکر اتارنا تھا، (۲۹) وہ تو بس ایک ہی چیخ تھی جبھی وہ بجھ کر رہ گئے (ف۳٤)،
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ٢٩
Kanzul Iman — English
It was just one scream, and with it they were extinguished.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہم نے اس کے بعد اس کی قوم پر آسمان سے کوئی لشکر نہ اتارا (ف۳۳) اور نہ ہمیں وہاں کوئی لشکر اتارنا تھا، (۲۹) وہ تو بس ایک ہی چیخ تھی جبھی وہ بجھ کر رہ گئے (ف۳٤)،
يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ٣٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And it was said, “Woe to those bondmen – whenever a Noble Messenger comes to them, they mock at him!”

اور کہا گیا کہ ہائے افسوس ان بندوں پر (ف۳۵) جب ان کے پاس کوئی رسول آتا ہے تو اس سے ٹھٹھا ہی کرتے ہیں،
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ٣١
Kanzul Iman — English
Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which will not return to them?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھا (ف۳٦) ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی سنگتیں ہلاک فرمائیں کہ وہ اب ان کی طرف پلٹنے والے نہیں (ف۳۷)
وَإِن كُلٌّۭ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ٣٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And without exception, all of them will be brought forth before Us.

اور جتنے بھی ہیں سب کے سب ہمارے حضور حاضر لائے جائیں گے (ف۳۸)
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ٣٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And a sign for them is the dead earth; We gave it life and We produced from it grain, so they eat from it.

اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی مردہ زمین ہے (ف۳۹) ہم نے اسے زندہ کیا (ف٤۰) اور پھر اس سے اناج نکالا تو اس میں سے کھاتے ہیں،
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And We have placed in it gardens of dates and grapes, and We have made springs of water in it.

اور ہم نے اس میں (ف٤۱) باغ بنائے کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے اور ہم نے اس میں کچھ چشمے بہائے کہ،
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
So that they may eat from its fruits, whereas they are not manufactured by their hands! So will they not be grateful?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس کے پھلوں میں سے کھائیں اور یہ ان کے ہاتھ کے بنائے نہیں تو کیا حق نہ مانیں گے (ف٤۲)
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Purity is to Him Who created all pairs, from what the earth grows, and of themselves, and from the things they do not know.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پاکی ہے اسے جس نے سب جوڑے بنائے (ف٤۳) ان چیزوں سے جنہیں زمین اگاتی ہے (ف٤٤) اور خود ان سے (ف٤۵) اور ان چیزوں سے جن کی انہیں خبر نہیں (ف٤٦)
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And a sign for them is the night; We strip the day out of it, thereupon they are in darkness.

اور ان کے لیے ایک نشانی (ف٤۷) رات ہے ہم اس پر سے دن کھینچ لیتے ہیں (ف٤۸) جبھی وہ اندھیروں میں ہیں،
وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ لَّهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And the sun runs its course for its final destination; this is a command of the Almighty, the All Knowing.

اور سورج چلتا ہے اپنے ایک ٹھہراؤ کے لیے (ف٤۹) یہ حکم ہے زبردست علم والے کا (ف۵۰)
وَٱلْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And We have appointed positions for the moon till it returns like an old branch of the date palm.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور چاند کے لیے ہم نے منزلیں مقرر کیں (ف۵۱) یہاں تک کہ پھر ہوگیا جیسے کھجور کی پرانی ڈال (ٹہنی) (ف۵۲)
لَا ٱلشَّمْسُ يَنۢبَغِى لَهَآ أَن تُدْرِكَ ٱلْقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّيْلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّۭ فِى فَلَكٍۢ يَسْبَحُونَ٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night surpass the day; and each one of them floats in its orbit.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
سورج کو نہیں پہنچتا کہ چاند کو پکڑے (ف۵۳) اور نہ رات دن پر سبقت لے جائے (ف۵٤) اور ہر ایک ، ایک گھیرے میں پیر رہا ہے،
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ٤١
Kanzul Iman — English
And a sign for them is that We lodged them in a laden ship, while they were in their forefathers backs.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان کے لیے نشانی یہ ہے کہ انہیں ان بزرگوں کی پیٹھ میں ہم نے بھری کشتی میں سوار کیا (ف۵۵)
وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ٤٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And We have created for them similar ships, in which they now ride.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان کے لیے ویسی ہی کشتیاں بنادیں جن پر سوار ہوتے ہیں،
وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ٤٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And if We will, We can drown them, so there would be no help in their distress, nor would they be saved.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہم چاہیں تو انہیں ڈبودیں (ف۵٦) تو نہ کوئی ان کی فریاد کو پہنچنے والا ہو اور نہ وہ بچائے جائیں،
إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَمَتَٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ٤٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Unless by mercy from Us, and as a comfort for a while.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر ہماری طرف کی رحمت اور ایک وقت تک برتنے دینا (ف۵۷)
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ٤٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And when it is said to them, “Beware of what is before you and what is behind you, in the hope of your gaining mercy”, they turn away!

اور جب ان سے فرمایا جاتا ہے ڈرو تم اس سے جو تمہارے سامنے ہے (ف۵۸) اور جو تمہارے پیچھے آنے والا ہے (ف۵۹) اس امید پر کہ تم پر مہر ہو تو منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں،
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۢ مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ٤٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And whenever a sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord, they always turn away from it!

اور جب کبھی ان کے رب کی نشانیوں سے کوئی نشانی ان کے پاس آتی ہے تو اس سے منہ پھیرلیتے ہیں، (ف٦۰)
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ٤٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And when it is said to them, “Spend in Allah’s cause, from what Allah has provided you”, the disbelievers say regarding the believers, “Shall we feed these, whom if Allah willed, would have fed? You are not but in open error!”

اور جب ان سے فرمایا جائے اللہ کے دیے میں سے کچھ اس کی راہ میں خرچ کرو تو کافر مسلمانوں کے لیے کہتے ہیں کہ کیا ہم اسے کھلائیں جسے اللہ چاہتا تو کھلادیتا (ف٦۱) تم تو نہیں مگر کھلی گمراہی میں،
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ٤٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And they say, “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کہتے ہیں کب آئے گا یہ وعدہ (ف٦۲) اگر تم سچے ہو (ف٦۳)
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ٤٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They await just one scream, which will overcome them while they are involved in worldly disputes.

راہ نہیں دیکھتے مگر ایک چیخ کی (ف٦٤) کہ انہیں آلے گی جب وہ دنیا کے جھگڑے میں پھنسے ہوں گے، (ف٦۵)
فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةًۭ وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ٥٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore neither able to make a will, nor returning to their homes.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو نہ وصیت کرسکیں گے اور نہ اپنے گھر پلٹ کرجائیں (ف٦٦)
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ٥١
Kanzul Iman — English
And the Trumpet will be blown – so they will come forth from the graves, running towards their Lord.

اور پھونکا جائے گا صور (ف٦۷) جبھی وہ قبروں سے (ف٦۸) اپنے رب کی طرف دوڑتے چلیں گے،
قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ٥٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Saying, “O our misfortune! Who has raised us from our sleep? This is what the Most Gracious had promised, and the Noble Messengers had spoken the truth!”

کہیں گے ہائے ہماری خرابی کس نے ہمیں سوتے سے جگادیا (ف٦۹) یہ ہے وہ جس کا رحمٰن نے وعدہ دیا تھا اور رسولوں نے حق فرمایا (ف۷۰)
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ٥٣
Kanzul Iman — English
It is just one scream, and every one of them will be brought together before Us!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ تو نہ ہوگی مگر ایک چنگھاڑ (ف۷۱) جبھی وہ سب کے سب ہمارے حضور حاضر ہوجائیں گے (ف۷۲)
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ٥٤
Kanzul Iman — English
So this day no soul will be wronged in the least; and you will not be compensated except for your deeds.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو آج کسی جان پر کچھ ظلم نہ ہوگا اور تمہیں بدلا نہ ملے گا اپنے کیے کا،
إِنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى شُغُلٍۢ فَٰكِهُونَ٥٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed this day the dwellers of Paradise are in comfort, with blissful hearts.

بیشک جنت والے آج دل کے بہلاووں میں چین کرتے ہیں (ف۷۳)
هُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ٥٦
Kanzul Iman — English
They and their wives are in shades, reclining on thrones.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ اور ان کی بیبیاں سایوں میں ہیں، تختوں پر تکیہ لگائے،
لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌۭ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ٥٧
Kanzul Iman — English
In it (paradise) are fruits for them and whatever they ask for.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ان کے لیے اس میں میوہ ہے اور ان کے لیے ہے اس میں جو مانگیں،
سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْلًۭا مِّن رَّبٍّۢ رَّحِيمٍۢ٥٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Upon them will be “Peace” – a Word from their Merciful Lord!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ان پر سلام ہوگا، مہربان رب کا فرمایا ہوا (ف۷٤)
وَٱمْتَٰزُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ٥٩
Kanzul Iman — English
“And be separated (from others) this day, O you criminals!”

اور آج الگ پھٹ جاؤ، اے مجرمو! (ف۷۵)
۞ أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٦٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اے اولاد آدم کیا میں نے تم سے عہد نہ لیا تھا (ف۷٦) کہ شیطان کو نہ پوجنا (ف۷۷) بیشک وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے،
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ٦١
Kanzul Iman — English
“And that you shall worship Me? This is the Straight Path.”

اور میری بندگی کرنا (ف۷۸) یہ سیدھی راہ ہے،
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّۭا كَثِيرًا ۖ أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ٦٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“And he has indeed led a large number of you astray; so did you not have sense?”

اور بیشک اس نے تم میں سے بہت سی خلقت کو بہکا دیا، تو کیا تمہیں عقل نہ تھی (ف۷۹)
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ٦٣
Kanzul Iman — English
“This is hell, which you were promised.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یہ ہے وہ جہنم جس کا تم سے وعدہ تھا،
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ٦٤
Kanzul Iman — English
“Enter it this day – the recompense of your disbelief.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
آج اسی میں جاؤ بدلہ اپنے کفر کا،
ٱلْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَىٰٓ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَآ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ٦٥
Kanzul Iman — English
This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds.

آج ہم ان کے مونھوں پر مہر کردیں گے (ف۸۰) اور ان کے ہاتھ ہم سے بات کریں گے اور ان پاؤں ان کے کئے کی گواہی دیں گے (ف۸۱)
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰٓ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ٦٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And had We willed, We could have quenched their eyes so they would rush towards the path, unable to see a thing.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کی آنکھیں مٹادیتے (ف۸۲) پھر لپک کر رستہ کی طرف جاتے تو انہیں کچھ نہ سوجھتا (ف۸۳)
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مُضِيًّۭا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ٦٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And had We willed, We could have disfigured their faces while they were in their homes, therefore unable to go forward or turn back.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کے گھر بیٹھے ان کی صورتیں بدل دیتے (ف۸٤) نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے نہ پیچھے لوٹتے (ف۸۵)
وَمَن نُّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ٦٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And whomever We bring to an old age, We reverse him in creation; so do they not understand?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جسے ہم بڑی عمر کا کریں اسے پیدائش میں الٹا پھیریں (ف۸٦) تو کیا سمجھے نہیں (ف۸۷)
وَمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ وَقُرْءَانٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٦٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And We have not taught him (Prophet Mohammed- peace and blessings be upon him) to recite poetry, nor does it befit him; it is nothing but an advice and the bright Qur’an.

اور ہم نے ان کو شعر کہنا نہ سکھایا (ف۸۸) اور نہ وہ ان کی شان کے لائق ہے، وہ تو نہیں مگر نصیحت اور روشن قرآن (ف۸۹)
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّۭا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ٧٠
Kanzul Iman — English
To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.)

کہ اسے ڈرائے جو زندہ ہو (ف۹۰) اور کافروں پر بات ثابت ہوجائے (ف۹۱)
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَٰمًۭا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ٧١
Kanzul Iman — English
Did they not see that We have created animals for them from Our handiwork, so they are their owners?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھا کہ ہم نے اپنے ہاتھ کے بنائے ہوئے چوپائے ان کے لیے پیدا کیے تو یہ ان کے مالک ہیں،
وَذَلَّلْنَٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ٧٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور انہیں ان کے لیے نرم کردیا (ف۹۲) تو کسی پر سوار ہوتے ہیں اور کسی کو کھاتے ہیں،
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ٧٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And for them in the animals are numerous different benefits and drinks; so will they not be grateful?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان کے لیے ان میں کئی طرح کے نفع (ف۹۳) اور پینے کی چیزیں ہیں (ف۹٤) تو کیا شکر نہ کریں گے (ف۹۵)
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ٧٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And they have appointed Gods other than Allah, that perhaps they may be helped!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور انہوں نے اللہ کے سوا اور خدا ٹھہرالیے (ف۹٦) کہ شاید ان کی مدد ہو (ف۹۷)
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّحْضَرُونَ٧٥
Kanzul Iman — English
They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ ان کی مدد نہیں کرسکتے (ف۹۸) اور وہ ان کے لشکر سب گرفتار حاضر آئیں گے (ف۹۹)
فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ٧٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose.

تو تم ان کی بات کا غم نہ کرو (ف۱۰۰) بیشک ہم جانتے ہیں جو وہ چھپاتے ہیں اور ظاہر کرتے ہیں (ف۱۰۱)
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٧٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کیا آدمی نے نہ دیکھا کہ ہم نے اسے پانی کی بوند سے بنایا جبھی وہ صریح جھگڑالو ہے (ف۱۰۲)
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًۭا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ ٱلْعِظَٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌۭ٧٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And he invents an example for Us, while forgetting his own creation, saying, “Who is such that can revive the bones when they have completely rotted away?”

اور ہمارے لیے کہاوت کہتا ہے (ف۱۰۳) اور اپنی پیدائش بھول گیا (ف۱۰٤) بولا ایسا کون ہے کہ ہڈیوں کو زندہ کرے جب وہ بالکل گل گئیں،
قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَهَآ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۢ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ٧٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “They will be revived by the One Who created them the first time; and He is the All Knowing of every creation.”

تم فرماؤ وہ زندہ کرے گا جس نے پہلی بار انہیں بنایا، اور اسے ہر پیدائش کا علم ہے (ف۱۰۵)
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلْأَخْضَرِ نَارًۭا فَإِذَآ أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ٨٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“The One Who has created for you fire from the green tree, so you kindle from it.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جس نے تمہارے لیے ہرے پیڑ میں آگ پیدا کی جبھی تم اس سے سلگاتے ہو (ف۱۰٦)
أَوَلَيْسَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم ۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ٨١
Kanzul Iman — English
And is it not possible for the One Who created the heavens and the earth to create the likes of them? It is surely possible, why not? And He is the Great Creator, the All Knowing of everything.

اور کیا وہ جس نے آسمان اور زمین بنائے ان جیسے اور نہیں بناسکتا (ف۱۰۷) کیوں نہیں (ف۱۰۸) اور وہی بڑا پیدا کرنے والا سب کچھ جانتا،
إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُۥٓ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيْـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ٨٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس کا کام تو یہی ہے کہ جب کسی چیز کو چاہے (ف۱۰۹) تو اس سے فرمائے ہو جا وہ فوراً ہوجاتی ہے، (ف۱۱۰)
فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٨٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power).

تو پاکی ہے، اسے جس کے ہاتھ ہر چیز کا قبضہ ہے، اور اسی کی طرف پھیرے جاؤ گے (ف۱۱۱)
