بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الم
غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ٢
Kanzul Iman — English
The Romans have been defeated.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
رومی مغلوب ہوئے، (ف۲)
فِىٓ أَدْنَى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ٣
Kanzul Iman — English
In the nearby land, and after their defeat they will soon be victorious.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پاس کی زمین میں (ف۳) اور اپنی مغلوبی کے عنقریب غالب ہوں گے (ف٤)
فِى بِضْعِ سِنِينَ ۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِنۢ بَعْدُ ۚ وَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَفْرَحُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Within a few (up to nine) years time; only for Allah is the command, before and after; and the believers will rejoice on that day.

چند برس میں (ف۵) حکم اللہ ہی کا ہے آگے اور پیچھے (ف٦) اور اس دن ایمان والے خوش ہوں گے،
بِنَصْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ٥
Kanzul Iman — English
With the help of Allah; He helps whomever He wills; and only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ کی مدد سے (ف۷) مدد کرتا ہے جس کی چاہے، اور وہی عزت والا مہربان،
وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُۥ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ٦
Kanzul Iman — English
The promise of Allah; Allah does not renege on His promise, but most people do not know.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ کا وعدہ (ف۸) اللہ اپنا وعدہ خلاف نہیں کرتا لیکن بہت لوگ نہیں جانتے (ف۹)
يَعْلَمُونَ ظَٰهِرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ هُمْ غَٰفِلُونَ٧
Kanzul Iman — English
They know only the visible worldly life; and are totally neglectful of the Hereafter.

جانتے ہیں آنکھوں کے سامنے کی دنیوی زندگی (ف۱۰) اور وہ آخرت سے پورے بےخبر ہیں،
أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِم ۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآئِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَٰفِرُونَ٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Have they not inwardly pondered – that Allah has not created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, except with truth and a fixed term? And indeed many people deny the meeting with their Lord.

کیا انہوں نے اپنے جی میں نہ سوچا کہ، اللہ نے پیدا نہ کیے آسمان اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے مگر حق (ف۱۱) اور ایک مقرر میعاد سے (ف۱۲) اور بیشک بہت سے لوگ اپنے رب سے ملنے کا انکار رکھتے ہیں (ف۱۳)
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةًۭ وَأَثَارُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those before them? They were stronger than them, and they cultivated the land and inhabited it more than them, and their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs; so it did not befit Allah’s Majesty to oppress them, but it was they who used to wrong themselves.

اور کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر نہ کیا کہ دیکھتے کہ ان سے اگلوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا (ف۱٤) وہ ان سے زیادہ زور آور تھے اور زمین جوتی اور آباد کی ان (ف۱۵) کی آبادی سے زیادہ اور ان کے رسول ان کے پاس روشن نشانیاں لائے (ف۱٦) تو اللہ کی شان نہ تھی کہ ان پر ظلم کرتا (ف۱۷) ہاں وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے (ف۱۸)
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓ أَن كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ١٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Then the fate of those who committed evil to the extreme was that they denied the signs of Allah and used to mock at them.

پھر جنہوں نے حد بھر کی برائی کی ان کا انجام یہ ہوا کہ اللہ کی آیتیں جھٹلانے لگے اور ان کے ساتھ تمسخر کرتے،
ٱللَّهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ١١
Kanzul Iman — English
Allah initiates the creation, then will create it again – then it is to Him that you will return.

اللہ پہلے بناتا ہے پھر دوبارہ بنائے گا (ف۱۹) پھر اس کی طرف پھروگے (ف۲۰)
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُبْلِسُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ١٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And on the Last Day– when it is established, the guilty* will lose all hope. (* The disbelievers.)

اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی مجرموں کی آس ٹوٹ جائے گی (ف۲۱)
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمْ شُفَعَٰٓؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ كَٰفِرِينَ١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And the partners they ascribed will not be their intercessors – and they will deny their partners.

اور ان کے شریک (ف۲۲) ان کے سفارشی نہ ہوں گے اور وہ اپنے شریکوں سے منکر ہوجائیں گے،
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَتَفَرَّقُونَ١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And on the Last Day – that day they will all separate.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی اس دن الگ ہوجائیں گے (ف۲۳)
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَهُمْ فِى رَوْضَةٍۢ يُحْبَرُونَ١٥
Kanzul Iman — English
So those who believed and did good deeds – they will be hosted in the Garden.

تو وہ جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے باغ کی کیاری میں ان کی خاطرداری ہوگی (ف۲٤)
وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَلِقَآئِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُحْضَرُونَ١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And those who disbelieved, and denied Our signs and confronting the Hereafter – they will be hauled into the punishment.

اور جو کافر ہوئے اور ہماری آیتیں اور آخرت کا ملنا جھٹلایا (ف۲۵) وہ عذاب میں لادھرے (ڈال دیے ) جائیں گے (ف۲٦)
فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
So proclaim the Purity of Allah when you witness the night and the morning.

تو اللہ کی پاکی بولو (ف۲۷) جب شام کرو (ف۲۸) اور جب صبح ہو (ف۲۹)
وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّۭا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ١٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And only His is the praise in the heavens and the earth – and before the day ends and at noon.

اور اسی کی تعریف ہے آسمانوں اور زمین میں (ف۳۰) اور کچھ دن رہے (ف۳۱) اور جب تمہیں دوپہر ہو (ف۳۲)
يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ وَيُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ١٩
Kanzul Iman — English
He brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living, and He revives the earth after its death; and this how you will be raised.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
وہ زندہ کو نکالتا ہے مردے سے (ف۳۳) اور مردے کو نکالتا ہے زندہ سے (ف۳٤) اور زمین کو جٕلاتا ہے اس کے مرے پیچھے (ف۳۵) اور یوں ہی تم نکالے جاؤ گے (ف۳٦)
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍۢ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَنتُم بَشَرٌۭ تَنتَشِرُونَ٢٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is that He created you from dust, and therefore you are human beings spread in the earth.

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے یہ کہ تمہیں پیدا کیا مٹی سے (ف۳۷) پھر جبھی تو انسان ہو دنیا میں پھیلے ہوئے،
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةًۭ وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ٢١
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is that He created spouses for you from yourselves for you to gain rest from them, and kept love and mercy between yourselves; indeed in this are signs for the people who ponder.

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ تمہارے لیے تمہاری ہی جنس سے جوڑے بنائے کہ ان سے آرام پاؤ اور تمہارے آپس میں محبت اور رحمت رکھی (ف۳۸) بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں دھیان کرنے والوں کے لیے،
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّلْعَٰلِمِينَ٢٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the differences in your languages and colours; indeed in this are signs for people who know.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کی پیدائش اور تمہاری زبانوں اور رنگتوں کا اختلاف (ف۳۹) بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیتں جاننے والوں کے لیے،
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَسْمَعُونَ٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is your sleeping during the night and day, and your seeking His munificence; indeed in this are signs for people who heed.

اور اس کی نشانیوں میں ہے رات اور دن میں تمہارا سونا (ف٤۰) اور اس کا فضل تلاش کرنا (ف٤۱) بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں سننے والوں کے لیے (ف٤۲)
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًۭا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَيُحْىِۦ بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is that He shows you the lightning, instilling fear and hope, and sends down water from the sky, so revives the earth after its death; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect.

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ تمہیں بجلی دکھاتا ہے ڈراتی (ف٤۳) اور امید دلاتی (ف٤٤) اور آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے ، تو اس سے زمین کو زندہ کرتا ہے اس کے مرے پیچھے، بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں عقل والوں کے لیے (ف٤۵)
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ إِذَآ أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you – from the earth – you will thereupon emerge.

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ اس کے حکم سے آسمان اور زمین قائم ہیں (ف٤٦) پھر جب تمہیں زمین سے ایک ندا فرمائے گا (ف٤۷) جبھی تم نکل پڑو گے (ف٤۸)
وَلَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥ قَٰنِتُونَ٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And to Him only belong all those who are in the heavens and the earth; all are submissive to Him.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اسی کے ہیں جو کوئی آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہیں، سب اس کے زیر حکم ہیں،
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ ۚ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And it is He Who initiates the creation, and will then create it again – and this, according to you, should be easier for Him! And for Him only is the Supreme Majesty in the heavens and the earth; and only He is the Almighty, the Wise.

اور وہی ہے کہ اول بناتا ہے پھر اسے دوبارہ بنائے گا (ف٤۹) اور یہ تمہاری سمجھ میں اس پر زیادہ آسان ہونا چاہیے (ف۵۰) اور اسی کے لیے ہے سب سے برتر شان آسمانوں اور زمین میں (ف۵۱) اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،
ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلًۭا مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِى مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ فَأَنتُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌۭ تَخَافُونَهُمْ كَخِيفَتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ٢٨
Kanzul Iman — English
He illustrates an example for you from your own selves; do you have for yourselves, among the bondmen you possess, partners in the sustenance We have bestowed upon you, thereby you become equal in respect of it – you fearing them the way you fear each other? This is how We illustrate detailed signs for the people of intellect.

تمہارے لیے (ف۵۲) ایک کہاوت بیان فرماتا ہے خود تمہارے اپنے حال سے (ف۵۳) کیا تمہارے لیے تمہارے ہاتھ کے غلاموں میں سے کچھ شریک ہیں (ف۵٤) اس میں جو ہم نے تمہیں روزی دی (ف۵۵) تو تم سب اس میں برابر ہو (ف۵٦) تم ان سے ڈرو (ف۵۷) جیسے آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے ڈرتے ہو (ف۵۸) ہم ایسی مفصل نشانیاں بیان فرماتے ہیں عقل والوں کے لیے،
بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ ۖ فَمَن يَهْدِى مَنْ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ٢٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Rather the unjust followed their own desires, without knowledge; so who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And they do not have supporters.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ ظالم (ف۵۹) اپنی خواہشوں کے پیچھے ہولیے بےجانے (ف٦۰) تو اسے کون ہدایت کرے جسے خدا نے گمراہ کیا (ف٦۱) اور ان کا کوئی مددگار نہیں (ف٦۲)
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًۭا ۚ فِطْرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ٣٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore set your attention for obeying Allah, devoted solely to Him; the foundation set by Allah, upon which He created man; do not change what Allah has created; this is the proper religion – but most people do not know.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اپنا منہ سیدھا کرو اللہ کی اطاعت کے لیے ایک اکیلے اسی کے ہو کر (ف٦۳) اللہ کی ڈالی ہوئی بنا جس پر لوگوں کو پیدا کیا (ف٦٤) اللہ کی بنائی چیز نہ بدلنا (ف٦۵) یہی سیدھا دین ہے، مگر بہت لوگ نہیں جانتے (ف٦٦)
۞ مُنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ٣١
Kanzul Iman — English
Inclining towards Him – and fear Him, and keep the prayer established, and never be of the polytheists.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس کی طرف رجوع لاتے ہوئے (ف٦۷) اور اس سے ڈرو اور نماز قائم رکھو اور مشرکوں سے نہ ہو،
مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًۭا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ٣٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Those who broke their religion into several parts and became different groups; every group is happy with what it has.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ان میں سے جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کردیا (ف٦۸) اور ہوگئے گروہ گروہ، ہر گروہ جو اس کے پاس ہے اسی پر خوش ہے (ف٦۹)
وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرٌّۭ دَعَوْا۟ رَبَّهُم مُّنِيبِينَ إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَآ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنْهُ رَحْمَةً إِذَا فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يُشْرِكُونَ٣٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And when some affliction reaches men, they pray to their Lord inclining towards Him – and when He gives them a taste of His mercy, thereupon a group among them begins setting up partners to their Lord!

اور جب لوگوں کو تکلیف پہنچتی ہے (ف۷۰) تو اپنے رب کو پکارتے ہیں اس کی طرف رجوع لاتے ہوئے پھر جب وہ انھیں اپنے پاس سے رحمت کا مزہ دیتا ہے (ف۷۱) جبھی ان میں سے ایک گروہ اپنے رب کا شریک ٹھہرانے لگتا ہے،
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ ۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
In order to be ungrateful for Our bestowal; “Therefore enjoy”; you will soon come to know.

کہ ہمارے دیے کی ناشکری کریں، تو برت لو (ف۷۲) اب قریب جاننا چاہتے ہو (ف۷۳)
أَمْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَٰنًۭا فَهُوَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يُشْرِكُونَ٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Or have We sent down to them any proof, which therefore tells them of My partners?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یا ہم نے ان پر کوئی سند اتاری (ف۷٤) کہ ہو انھیں ہمارے شریک بتارہی ہے (ف۷۵)
وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةًۭ فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَقْنَطُونَ٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And when We give people the taste of mercy they rejoice at it; and if an ill fortune reaches them because of what their hands have sent ahead – thereupon they lose hope!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت کا مزہ دیتے ہیں (ف۷٦) اس پر خوش ہوجاتے ہیں (ف۷۷) اور اگر انھیں کوئی برائی پہنچے (ف۷۸) بدلہ اس کا جو ان کے ہاتھوں نے بھیجا (ف۷۹) جبھی وہ ناامید ہوجاتے ہیں (ف۸۰)
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And did they not see that Allah eases the sustenance for whomever He wills and restricts it for whomever He wills? Indeed in this are signs for people who believe.

اور کیا انہوں نے نہ دیکھا کہ اللہ رزق وسیع فرماتا ہے جس کے لیے چاہے اور تنگی فرماتا ہے جس کے لیے چاہے بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں ایمان والوں کے لیے،
فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلْمِسْكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore give the relative his right, and to the needy, and to the traveller; this is better for those who seek the pleasure of Allah; and it is they who are the successful.

تو رشتہ دار کو اس کا حق دو (ف۸۱) اور مسکین اور مسافر کو (ف۸۲) یہ بہتر ہے ان کے لیے جو اللہ کی رضا چاہتے ہیں (ف۸۳) اور انھیں کا کام بنا،
وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم مِّن رِّبًۭا لِّيَرْبُوَا۟ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا يَرْبُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةٍۢ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And that which you give upon usury, in order that it may increase the creditors’ property, will not increase before Allah; and the charity you give seeking the pleasure of Allah – only that will increase manifold.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور تم جو چیز زیادہ لینے کو دو کہ دینے والے کے مال بڑھیں تو وہ اللہ کے یہاں نہ بڑھے گی (ف۸٤) اور جو تم خیرات دو اللہ کی رضا چاہتے ہوئے (ف۸۵) تو انھیں کے دُونے ہیں (ف۸٦)
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفْعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
It is Allah Who created you and then provided you sustenance, then will cause you to die, and will then give you life again; is there any among your ascribed partners that can do any of these things? Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above their ascribing of partners (to Him)!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا پھر تمہیں روزی دی پھر تمہیں مارے گا پھر تمہیں جِلائے گا (ف۸۷) کیا تمہارے شریکوں میں (ف۸۸) بھی کوئی ایسا ہے جو ان کاموں میں سے کچھ کرے (ف۸۹) پاکی اور برتری ہے اسے ان کے شرک سے،
ظَهَرَ ٱلْفَسَادُ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِى ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ٤١
Kanzul Iman — English
Chaos appears in the land and the sea because of the evil deeds which people’s hands have earned, in order to make them taste the flavour of some of their misdeeds – in order that they may come back.

چمکی خرابی خشکی اور تری میں (ف۹۰) ان برائیوں سے جو لوگوں کے ہاتھوں نے کمائیں تاکہ انھیں ان کے بعض کوتکوں (برے کاموں) کا مزہ چکھائے کہیں وہ باز آئیں (ف۹۱)
قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّشْرِكِينَ٤٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land, and see what sort of fate befell the former people; and most of them were polytheists.”

تم فرماؤ زمین میں چل کر دیکھو کیا انجام ہوا اگلوں کا، ان میں بہت مشرک تھے (ف۹۲)
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌۭ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصَّدَّعُونَ٤٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore set your attention for worshipping, before the day from Allah which cannot be averted – on that day people will be split, separated.

تو اپنا منہ سیدھا کر عبادت کے لیے (ف۹۳) قبل اس کے کہ وہ دن آئے جسے اللہ کی طرف ٹلنا نہیں (ف۹٤) اس دن الگ پھٹ جائیں گے (ف۹۵)
مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُونَ٤٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Whoever disbelieves, then the calamity of his disbelief is only on him; and those who do good deeds, are preparing for themselves.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جو کفر کرے اس کے کفر کا وبال اسی پر اور جو اچھا کام کریں وہ اپنے ہی لیے تیاری کررہے ہیں (ف۹٦)
لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ٤٥
Kanzul Iman — English
In order to reward those who believed and did good deeds, by His munificence; indeed He does not like the disbelievers.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تاکہ صلہ دے (ف۹۷) انھیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے اپنے فضل سے، بیشک وہ کافروں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا،
وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٍۢ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ٤٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And among His signs is that He sends winds heralding glad tidings, to make you taste His mercy, and so that the ships may sail by His command, and so that you may seek His munificence, and for you to give thanks.

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ ہوائیں بھیجتا ہے مژدہ سناتی (ف۹۸) اور اس لیے کہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت کا ذائقہ دے اور اس لیے کہ کشتی (ف۹۹) اس کے حکم سے چلے اور اس لیے کہ اس کا فضل تلاش کرو (ف۱۰۰) اور اس لیے کہ تم حق مانو (ف۱۰۱)
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٤٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed We sent several Noble Messengers before you, to their nations – so they came to them with clear signs – We therefore took revenge from the guilty; and it is incumbent upon Our mercy, to help the Muslims.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہم نے تم سے پہلے کتنے رسول ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجے تو وہ ان کے پاس کھلی نشانیاں لائےپھر ہم نے مجرموں سے بدلہ لیا (ف۱۰۳) اور ہمارے ذمہٴ کرم پر ہے مسلمانوں کی مدد فرمانا (ف۱۰٤)
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًۭا فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ كِسَفًۭا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ ۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ٤٨
Kanzul Iman — English
It is Allah Who sends the winds raising the clouds – therefore spreads them in the sky as He wills and shatters them – so you see the rain dropping from inside it; so when He delivers it upon whomever He wills among His bondmen, thereupon they rejoice.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ ہے کہ بھیجتا ہے ہوائیں کہ ابھارتی ہیں بادل پھر اسے پھیلادیتا ہے آسمان میں جیسا چاہے (ف۱۰۵) اور اسے پارہ پارہ کرتا ہے (ف۱۰٦) تو تو دیکھے کہ اس کے یبچ میں مینھ نکل رہا ہے پھر جب اسے پہنچاتا ہے (ف۱۰۷) اپنے بندوں میں جس کی طرف چاہے جبھی وہ خوشیاں مناتے ہیں،
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمُبْلِسِينَ٤٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Although they had lost hope before it was sent down upon them.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اگرچہ اس کے اتارنے سے پہلے آس توڑے ہوئے تھے،
فَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِ رَحْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ٥٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore observe the result of Allah’s mercy, how He revives the earth after its death; He will indeed resurrect the dead; and He is Able to do all things.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اللہ کی رحمت کے اثر دیکھو (ف۱۰۸) کیونکر زمین کو جِلاتا ہے اس کے مَرے پیچھے (ف۱۰۹) بیشک مردوں کو زندہ کرے گا اور وہ سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے،
وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِيحًۭا فَرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّۭا لَّظَلُّوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ يَكْفُرُونَ٥١
Kanzul Iman — English
And if We send a wind and they see their fields yellow because of it, then indeed they would become ungrateful after it.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اگر ہم کوئی ہوا بھیجیں (ف۱۱۰) جس سے وہ کھیتی کو زرد دیکھیں (ف۱۱۱) تو ضرور اس کے بعد ناشکری کرنے لگے (ف۱۱۲)
فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ٥٢
Kanzul Iman — English
For you do not make the dead hear nor make the deaf hear the call when they flee, turning back. (The disbelievers are referred to as dead and deaf.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس لیے کہ تم مردوں کو نہیں سناتے (ف۱۱۳) اور نہ بہروں کو پکارنا سناؤ جب وہ پیٹھ دے کر پھیریں (ف۱۱٤)
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ٥٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Nor do you guide the blind out of their error; you only make those hear who believe in Our signs, so they have submitted. (The disbelievers are referred to as blind.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور نہ تم اندھوں کو (ف۱۱۵) ان کی گمراہی سے راہ پر لاؤ، تو تم اسی کو سناتے ہو جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان لائے تو وہ گردن رکھے ہوئے ہیں،
۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍۢ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍۢ قُوَّةًۭ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍۢ ضَعْفًۭا وَشَيْبَةًۭ ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْقَدِيرُ٥٤
Kanzul Iman — English
It is Allah Who created you weak, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength gave you weakness and old age; He creates whatever He wills; and only He is the All Knowing, the Able.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ ہے جس نے تمہیں ابتداء میں کمزور بنایا (ف۱۱٦) پھر تمہیں ناتوانی سے طاقت بخشی (ف۱۱۷) پھر قوت کے بعد (ف۱۱۸) کمزوری اور بڑھاپا دیا، بناتا ہے جو چاہے (ف۱۱۹) اور وہی علم و قدرت والا ہے،
وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍۢ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْفَكُونَ٥٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And on the day when the Last Day is established, the guilty will swear that they did not stay except for an hour; this is how they keep straying.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی مجرم قسم کھائیں گے کہ نہ رہے تھے مگر ایک گھڑی (ف۱۲۰) وہ ایسے ہی اوندھے جاتے تھے (ف۱۲۱)
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْبَعْثِ ۖ فَهَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْبَعْثِ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ٥٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And said those who received knowledge and faith, “You have indeed stayed in the decree of Allah until the Day of Restoration; so this is the Day of Restoration, but you did not know.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بولے وہ جن کو علم اور ایمان مِلا (ف۱۲۲) بیشک تم رہے اللہ کے لکھے ہوئے میں (ف۱۲۳) اٹھنے کے دن تک تو یہ ہے وہ دن اٹھنے کا (ف۱۲٤) لیکن تم نہ جانتے تھے (ف۱۲۵)
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ٥٧
Kanzul Iman — English
So on that day the unjust will not benefit from their excuses, nor will anyone ask them for compensation.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اس دن ظالموں کو نفع نہ دے گی ان کی معذرت اور نہ ان سے کوئی راضی کرنا مانگے (ف۱۲٦)
وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍۢ ۚ وَلَئِن جِئْتَهُم بِـَٔايَةٍۢ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُبْطِلُونَ٥٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed We have illustrated all kinds of examples in this Qur’an for mankind; and indeed if you bring a sign to them, the disbelievers will say, “You are upon nothing but falsehood.”

اور بیشک ہم نے لوگوں کے لیے اس قرآن میں ہر قسم کی مثال بیان فرمائی (ف۱۲۷) اور اگر تم ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی لاؤ تو ضرور کافر کہیں گے تم تو نہیں مگر باطل پر،
كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ٥٩
Kanzul Iman — English
This is how Allah sets seal upon the hearts of the ignorant.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یوں ہی مہر کردیتا ہے اللہ جاہلوں کے دلوں پر (ف۱۲۸)
فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ٦٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore patiently endure, indeed the promise of Allah is true; and may not those who do not have faith make you impatient.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو صبر کرو (ف۱۲۹) بیشک اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے (ف۱۳۰) اور تمہیں سبک نہ کردیں وہ جو یقین نہیں رکھتے (ف۱۳۱)
