وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا١
Kanzul Iman — English
By oath of those who establish proper ranks.

قسم ان کی کہ باقاعدہ صف باندھیں (ف۲)
37:1
الصَّافَّاتِ
صف بستہ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا١
Kanzul Iman — English
By oath of those who establish proper ranks.

قسم ان کی کہ باقاعدہ صف باندھیں (ف۲)
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر ان کی کہ جھڑک کر چلائیں (ف۳)
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر ان جماعتوں کی، کہ قرآن پڑھیں،
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed your God is surely only One.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک تمہارا معبود ضرور ایک ہے،
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points.

مالک آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے اور مالک مشرقوں کا (ف٤)
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ٦
Kanzul Iman — English
We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments.

اور بیشک ہم نے نیچے کے آسمان کو (ف۵) تاروں کے سنگھار سے آراستہ کیا ،
وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And to protect it from every rebellious devil.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور نگاہ رکھنے کو ہر شیطان سرکش سے (ف٦)
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ٨
Kanzul Iman — English
They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side.

عالم بالا کی طرف کان نہیں لگا سکتے (ف۷) اور ان پر ہر طرف سے مار پھینک ہوتی ہے (ف۸)
دُحُورًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ٩
Kanzul Iman — English
To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment.

انہیں بھگانے کو اور ان کے لیے (ف۹) ہمیشہ کا عذاب،
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ١٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him.

مگر جو ایک آدھ بار اُچک لے چلا (ف۱۰) تو روشن انگار اس کے پیچھے لگا ، (ف۱۱)
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ١١
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay.

تو ان سے پوچھو (ف۱۲) کیا ان کی پیدائش زیادہ مضبوط ہے یا ہماری اور مخلوق آسمانوں اور فرشتوں وغیرہ کی (ف۱۳) بیشک ہم نے ان کو چپکتی مٹی سے بنایا (ف۱٤)
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ١٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ تمہیں اچنبھا آیا (ف۱۵) اور وہ ہنسی کرتے ہیں (ف۱٦)
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And they do not understand, when explained to.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور سمجھائے نہیں سمجھتے،
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور جب کوئی نشانی دیکھتے ہیں (ف۱۷) ٹھٹھا کرتے ہیں،
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ١٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کہتے ہیں یہ تو نہیں مگر کھلا جادو،
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
“When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا جب ہم مر کر مٹی اور ہڈیاں ہوجائیں گے کیا ہم ضرور اٹھائے جائیں گے،
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“And also our forefathers?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور کیا ہمارے اگلے باپ دادا بھی (ف۱۸)
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ١٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تم فرماؤ ہاں یوں کہ ذلیل ہو کے،
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ١٩
Kanzul Iman — English
So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring.

تو وہ (ف۱۹) تو ایک ہی جھڑک ہے (ف۲۰) جبھی وہ (ف۲۱) دیکھنے لگیں گے،
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ٢٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.”

اور کہیں گے ہائے ہماری خرابی ان سے کہا جائے گا یہ انصاف کا دن ہے (ف۲۲)
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ٢١
Kanzul Iman — English
“This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یہ ہے وہ فیصلے کا دن جسے تم جھٹلاتے تھے (ف۲۳)
۞ ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ٢٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ہانکو ظالموں اور ان کے جوڑوں کو (ف۲٤) اور جو کچھ وہ پوجتے تھے ،
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
“Instead of Allah – and herd them to the path leading to hell.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اللہ کے سوا، ان سب کو ہانکو راہِ دوزخ کی طرف،
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
“And stop them – they are to be questioned.”

اور انہیں ٹھہراؤ (ف۲۵) ان سے پوچھنا ہے (ف۲٦)
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تمہیں کیا ہوا ایک دوسرے کی مدد کیوں نہیں کرتے (ف۲۷)(
بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
In fact this day they have all surrendered.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ وہ آج گردن ڈالے ہیں (ف۲۸)
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان میں ایک نے دوسرے کی طرف منہ کیا آپس میں پوچھتے ہوئے،
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ٢٨
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بولے (ف۲۹) تم ہمارے دہنی طرف سے بہکانے آتے تھے (ف۳۰)
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ٢٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جواب دیں گے تم خود ہی ایمان نہ رکھتے تھے (ف۳۱)
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ٣٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہمارا تم پر کچھ قابو نہ تھا (ف۳۲) بلکہ تم سرکش لوگ تھے،
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ ۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ٣١
Kanzul Iman — English
“So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ثابت ہوگئی ہم پر ہمارے رب کی بات (ف۳۳) ہمیں ضرور چکھنا ہے (ف۳٤)
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ٣٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ہم نے تمہیں گمراہ کیا کہ ہم خود گمراہ تھے،
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ٣٣
Kanzul Iman — English
So this day they all are partners in the punishment.

تو اس دن (ف۳۵) وہ سب کے سب عذاب میں شریک ہیں (ف۳٦)
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
This is how We deal with the guilty.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مجرموں کے ساتھ ہم ایسا ہی کرتے ہیں،
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک جب ان سے کہا جاتا تھا کہ اللہ کے سوا کسی کی بندگی نہیں تو اونچی کھینچتے (تکبر کرتے) تھے (ف۳۷)
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍۢ مَّجْنُونٍۭ٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?”

اور کہتے تھے کیا ہم اپنے خداؤں کو چھوڑ دیں ایک دیوانہ شاعر کے کہنے سے (ف۳۸)
بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بلکہ وہ تو حق لائے ہیں اور انہوں نے رسولوں کی تصدیق فرمائی (ف۳۹)
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“You surely have to taste the painful punishment.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک تمہیں ضرور دکھ کی مار چکھنی ہے،
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
“And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو تمہیں بدلہ نہ ملے گا مگر اپنے کیے کا (ف٤۰)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Except the chosen bondmen of Allah.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر جو اللہ کے چنے ہوئے بندے ہیں (ف٤۱)
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ٤١
Kanzul Iman — English
For them is the sustenance known to Us.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ان کے لیے وہ روزی ہے جو ہمارے علم میں ہیں،
فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ٤٢
Kanzul Iman — English
Fruits; and they will be honoured.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
میوے (ف٤۲) اور ان کی عزت ہوگی،
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٤٣
Kanzul Iman — English
In Gardens of peace.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
چین کے باغوں میں،
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ٤٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Facing one another on thrones.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تختوں پر ہوں گے آمنے سامنے (ف٤۳)
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ٤٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them.

ان پر دورہ ہوگا نگاہ کے سامنے بہتی شراب کے جام کا (ف٤٤)
بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍۢ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ٤٦
Kanzul Iman — English
White, delicious for the drinkers.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
سفید رنگ (ف٤۵) پینے والوں کے لیے لذت (ف٤٦)
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ٤٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
نہ اس میں خمار ہے (ف٤۷) اور نہ اس سے ان کا سَر پِھرے (ف٤۸)
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ٤٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes.

اور ان کے پاس ہیں جو شوہروں کے سوا دوسری طرف آنکھ اٹھا کر نہ دیکھیں گی (ف٤۹)
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ٤٩
Kanzul Iman — English
As if they were eggs, safely hidden.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بڑی آنکھوں والیاں گویا وہ انڈے ہیں پوشیدہ رکھے ہوئے (ف۵۰)
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ٥٠
Kanzul Iman — English
So one among them turns to the other, questioning. –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ان میں (ف۵۱) ایک نے دوسرے کی طرف منہ کیا پوچھتے ہوئے (ف۵۲)
قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ٥١
Kanzul Iman — English
The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ان میں سے کہنے والا بولا میرا ایک ہمنشین تھا (ف۵۳)
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ٥٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مجھ سے کہا کرتا کیا تم اسے سچ مانتے ہو (ف۵٤)
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ٥٣
Kanzul Iman — English
‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’”

کیا جب ہم مر کر مٹی اور ہڈیاں ہوجائیں گے تو کیا ہمیں جزا سزا دی جائے گی (ف۵۵)
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ٥٤
Kanzul Iman — English
He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کہا کیا تم جھانک کر دیکھو گے (ف۵٦)
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٥٥
Kanzul Iman — English
He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر جھانکا تو اسے بیچ بھڑکتی آگ میں دیکھا (ف۵۷)
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ٥٦
Kanzul Iman — English
He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کہا خدا کی قسم قریب تھا کہ تو مجھے ہلاک کردے (ف۵۸)
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ٥٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“And were it not for the munificence of my Lord, I too would have been seized and brought forth (captive)!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور میرا رب فضل نہ کرے (ف۵۹) تو ضرور میں بھی پکڑ کر حاضر کیا جاتا (ف٦۰)
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ٥٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“So are we never to die?” (The people of Paradise will ask the angels, with delight, after the announcement of everlasting life.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو کیا ہمیں مرنا نہیں،
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ٥٩
Kanzul Iman — English
“Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر ہماری پہلی موت (ف٦۱) اور ہم پر عذاب نہ ہوگا (ف٦۳)
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ٦٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“This is, most certainly, the supreme success.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے،
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ٦١
Kanzul Iman — English
For such a reward should the workers perform.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
ایسی ہی بات کے لیے کامیوں کو کام کرنا چاہیے،
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ٦٢
Kanzul Iman — English
So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو یہ مہمانی بھلی (ف٦۳) یا تھوہڑ کا پیڑ (ف٦٤)
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ٦٣
Kanzul Iman — English
We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک ہم نے اسے ظالموں کی جانچ کیا ہے (ف٦۵)
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٦٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک وہ ایک پیڑ ہے کہ جہنم کی جڑ میں نکلتا ہے (ف٦٦)
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ٦٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Its fruit like the heads of demons.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اس کا شگوفہ جیسے دیووں کے سر (ف٦۷)
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ٦٦
Kanzul Iman — English
So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it.

پھر بیشک وہ اس میں سے کھائیں گے (ف٦۸) پھر اس سے پیٹ بھریں گے،
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًۭا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ٦٧
Kanzul Iman — English
Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر بیشک ان کے لیے اس پر کھولتے پانی کی ملونی (ملاوٹ) ہے (ف٦۹)
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ٦٨
Kanzul Iman — English
Then surely their return is towards hell.

پھر ان کی بازگشت ضرور بھڑکتی آگ کی طرف ہے (ف۷۰)
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ٦٩
Kanzul Iman — English
They had indeed found their forefathers astray.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک انہوں نے اپنے باپ دادا گمراہ پائے،
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ٧٠
Kanzul Iman — English
So they hastily follow their footsteps!

تو وہ انہیں کے نشان قدم پر دوڑے جاتے ہیں (ف۷۱)
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ٧١
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray.

اور بیشک ان سے پہلے بہت سے اگلے گمراہ ہوئے (ف۷۲)
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ٧٢

And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them.

اور بیشک ہم نے ان میں ڈر سنانے والے بھیجے (ف۷۳)
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ٧٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned!

تو دیکھو ڈرائے گیوں کا کیسا انجام ہوا (ف۷٤)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ٧٤

Except the chosen bondmen of Allah.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر اللہ کے چنے ہوئے بندے (ف۷۵) (۷۵) ا
وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌۭ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ٧٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Nooh prayed to Us – so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are!

اور بیشک ہمیں نوح نے پکارا (ف۷٦) تو ہم کیا ہی اچھے قبول فرمانے والے (ف۷۷)
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ٧٦

And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity.

اور ہم نے اسے اور اس کے گھر والوں کو بڑی تکلیف سے نجات دی،
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ٧٧

And We preserved his descendants.

اور ہم نے اسی کی اولاد باقی رکھی (ف۷۸)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ٧٨

And We kept his praise among the latter generations.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہم نے پچھلوں میں اس کی تعریف باقی رکھی (ف۷۹)
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٧٩

Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people.

نوح پر سلام ہو جہاں والوں میں (ف۸۰)
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ٨٠

This is how We reward the virtuous.

بیشک ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو،
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٨١
Kanzul Iman — English
He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک وہ ہمارے اعلیٰ درجہ کے کامل الایمان بندوں میں ہے،
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ٨٢
Kanzul Iman — English
We then drowned the others.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر ہم نے دوسروں کو ڈبو دیا (ف۸۱)
۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ٨٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group.

اور بیشک اسی کے گروہ سے ابراہیم ہے (ف۸۲)
إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍ٨٤
Kanzul Iman — English
When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood).
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک اسی کے گروہ سے ابراہیم ہے (ف۸۲)
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ٨٥

When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جب اس نے اپنے باپ اور اپنی قوم سے فرمایا (ف۸٤) تم کیا پوجتے ہو،
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ٨٦

“What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا بہتان سے اللہ کے سوا اور خدا چاہتے ہو،
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٨٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو تمہارا کیا گمان سے رب العالمین پر (ف۸۵)
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةًۭ فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ٨٨

He then shot a glance at the stars.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر اس نے ایک نگاہ ستاروں کو دیکھا (ف۸٦)
فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌۭ٨٩
Kanzul Iman — English
He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر کہا میں بیمار ہونے والا ہوں (ف۸۷)
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ٩٠
Kanzul Iman — English
And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease).

تو وہ اس پر پیٹھ دے کر پھر گئے (ف۸۸)
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ٩١
Kanzul Iman — English
He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?”

پھر ان کے خداؤں کی طرف چھپ کر چلا تو کہا کیا تم نہیں کھاتے (ف۸۹)
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ٩٢
Kanzul Iman — English
“What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تمہیں کیا ہوا کہ نہیں بولتے (ف۹۰)
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ٩٣

He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people.

تو لوگوں کی نظر بچا کر انہیں دہنے ہاتھ سے مارنے لگا (ف۹۱)
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ٩٤
Kanzul Iman — English
So the disbelievers came running towards him.

تو کافر اس کی طرف جلدی کرتے آئے (ف۹۲)
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ٩٥
Kanzul Iman — English
He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
فرمایا کیا اپنے ہاتھ کے تراشوں کو پوجتے ہو،
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ٩٦
Kanzul Iman — English
“Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اللہ نے تمہیں پیدا کیا اور تمہارے اعمال کو (ف۹۳)
قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ٩٧
Kanzul Iman — English
They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!”

بولے اس کے لیے ایک عمارت چنو (ف۹٤) پھر اسے بھڑکتی آگ میں ڈال دو،
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ٩٨
Kanzul Iman — English
So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool).

تو انہوں نے اس پر داؤں چلنا (فریب کرنا) چاہا ہم نے انہیں نیچا دکھایا (ف۹۵)
وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ٩٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.”

اور کہا میں اپنے رب کی طرف جانے والا ہوں (ف۹٦) اب وہ مجھے راہ دے گا (ف۹۷)
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ١٠٠
Kanzul Iman — English
“My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
الٰہی مجھے لائق اولاد دے،
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍۢ١٠١
Kanzul Iman — English
We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ہم نے اسے خوشخبری سنائی ایک عقل مند لڑکے کی،(
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ١٠٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you – therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!”

پھر جب وہ اس کے ساتھ کام کے قابل ہوگیا کہا اے میرے بیٹے میں نے خواب دیکھا میں تجھے ذبح کرتا ہوں (ف۹۸) اب تو دیکھ تیری کیا رائے ہے (ف۹۹) کہا اے میرے باپ کی جیئے جس بات کا آپ کو حکم ہوتا ہے، خدا نے چاہتا تو قریب ہے کہ آپ مجھے صابر پائیں گے،
فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ١٠٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail)

تو جب ان دونوں نے ہمارے حکم پر گردن رکھی اور باپ نے بیٹے کو ماتھے کے بل لٹایا اس وقت کا حال نہ پوچھ (ف۱۰۰)
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ١٠٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ہم نے اسے ندائی فرمائی کہ اے ابراہیم،
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٠٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous.

بیشک تو نے خواب سچ کردکھایا (ف۱۰۱) ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو،
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ١٠٦
Kanzul Iman — English
Indeed this was a clear test.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک یہ روشن جانچ تھی،
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍۢ١٠٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And We rescued him in exchange of a great sacrifice. (The sacrifice of Ibrahim and Ismail – peace be upon them – is commemorated every year on 10, 11 and 12 Zil Haj).

اور ہم نے ایک بڑا ذبیحہ اس کے فدیہ میں دے کر اسے بچالیا (ف۱۰۲)
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ١٠٨

And We kept his praise among the latter generations.

اور ہم نے پچھلوں میں اس کی تعریف باقی رکھی،
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ١٠٩

سلام ہو ابراہیم پر (ف۱۰۳)
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١١٠

بیشک وہ ہمارے اعلیٰ درجہ کے کامل الایمان بندوں میں ہیں،

And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity.

اور ہم نے اسے خوشخبری دی اسحاق کی کہ غیب کی خبریں بتانے والا نبی ہمارے قربِ خاص کے سزاواروں میں (ف۱۰٤)
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ١١٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants – some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves.

اور ہم نے برکت اتاری اس پر اور اسحاق پر (ف۱۰۵) اور ان کی اولاد میں کوئی اچھا کام کرنے والا (ف۱۰٦) اور کوئی اپنی جان پر صریح ظلم کرنے والا (ف۱۰۷)
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ١١٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon.

اور بیشک ہم نے موسیٰ اور ہارون پر احسان فرمایا (ف۱۰۸)
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ١١٥

And rescued them and their people from the great calamity.

اور انہیں اور ان کی قوم (ف۱۰۹) کو بڑی سختی سے نجات بخشی (ف۱۱۰)
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ١١٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And We helped them, so they were victorious.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ان کی ہم نے مدد فرمائی (ف۱۱۱) تو وہی غالب ہوئے (ف۱۱۲)
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ١١٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them.

اور ہم نے ان دونوں کو روشن کتاب عطا فرمائی (ف۱۱۳)
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ١١٨

And guided them to the Straight Path.

اور ان کو سیدھی راہ دکھائی،
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ١١٩

And We kept their praise among the latter generations.

اور پچھلوں میں ان کی تعریف باقی رکھی،
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ١٢٠

Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon!
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
سلام ہو موسیٰ اور ہارون پر،
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٢١

This is how We reward the virtuous.

بیشک ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو،
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ١٢٢

Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
بیشک وہ دونوں ہمارے اعلیٰ درجہ کے کامل الایمان بندوں میں ہیں،
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٢٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers.

اور بیشک الیاس پیغمبروں سے ہے (ف۱۱٤)
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ١٢٤
Kanzul Iman — English
When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے فرمایا کیا تم ڈرتے نہیں (ف۱۱۵)
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ١٢٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا بعل کو پوجتے ہو (ف۱۱٦) اور چھوڑتے ہو سب سے اچھا پیدا کرنے والے اللہ کو،
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٢٦
Kanzul Iman — English
“Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جو رب ہے تمہارا اور تمہارے اگلے باپ دادا کا (ف۱۱۷)
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ١٢٧
Kanzul Iman — English
In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives.

پھر انہوں نے اسے جھٹلایا تو وہ ضرور پکڑے آئیں گے (ف۱۱۸)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٢٨

سلام ہو الیاس پر،
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٣١

بیشک ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو،

And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers.

اور بیشک لوط پیغمبروں میں ہے،
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ١٣٤
Kanzul Iman — English
When We rescued him and his entire household.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جبکہ ہم نے اسے اور اس کے سب گھر والوں کو نجات بخشی،
إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ١٣٥
Kanzul Iman — English
Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر ایک بڑھیا کہ رہ جانے والوں میں ہوئی (ف۱۲۰)
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ١٣٦
Kanzul Iman — English
We then destroyed the others.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پھر دوسروں کو ہم نے ہلاک فرمادیا (ف۱۲۱)
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ١٣٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed you pass over them in the morning. –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک تم (ف۱۲۲) ان پر گزرتے ہو صبح کو،
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ١٣٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And during the night; so do you not have sense?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور رات میں (ف۱۲۳) تو کیا تمہیں عقل نہیں (ف۱۲٤)
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٣٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers.

اور بیشک یونس پیغمبروں سے ہے،
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ١٤٠
Kanzul Iman — English
When he left towards the laden ship.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
جبکہ بھری کشتی کی طرف نکل گیا (ف۱۲۵)
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ١٤١
Kanzul Iman — English
Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea.

تو قرعہ ڈالا تو ڈھکیلے ہوؤں میں ہوا،
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ١٤٢
Kanzul Iman — English
The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.)

پھر اسے مچھلی نے نگل لیا اور وہ اپنے آپ کو ملامت کرتا تھا (ف۱۲٦)
فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ١٤٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And were he not one of those who praise. –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اگر وہ تسبیح کرنے والا نہ ہوتا (ف۱۲۷)
لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ١٤٤
Kanzul Iman — English
He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised.

ضرور اس کے پیٹ میں رہتا جس دن تک لوگ اٹھائے جائیں گے (ف۱۲۸)
۞ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌۭ١٤٥
Kanzul Iman — English
We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick.

پھر ہم نے اسے (ف۱۲۹) میدان میں ڈال دیا اور وہ بیمار تھا (ف۱۳۰)
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةًۭ مِّن يَقْطِينٍۢ١٤٦
Kanzul Iman — English
And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him.

اور ہم نے اس پر (ف۱۳۱) کدو کا پیڑ اگایا (ف۱۳۲)
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ١٤٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more.

اور ہم نے اسے (ف۱۳۳) لاکھ آدمیوں کی طرف بھیجا بلکہ زیادہ،
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ١٤٨
Kanzul Iman — English
So they accepted faith – We therefore gave them usage for a while.

تو وہ ایمان لے آئے (ف۱۳٤) تو ہم نے انہیں ایک وقت تک برتنے دیا (ف۱۳۵)
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ١٤٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them!

تو ان سے پوچھو کیا تمہارے رب کے لیے بیٹیاں ہیں (ف۱۳٦) اور ان کے بیٹے (ف۱۳۷)
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًۭا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ١٥٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یا ہم نے ملائکہ کو عورتیں پیدا کیا اور وہ حاضر تھے (ف۱۳۸)
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ١٥١
Kanzul Iman — English
Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
سنتے ہو بیشک وہ اپنے بہتان سے کہتے ہیں،
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ١٥٢
Kanzul Iman — English
That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کہ اللہ کی اولاد ہے اور بیشک وہ ضرور جھوٹے ہیں،
أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ١٥٣
Kanzul Iman — English
“Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کیا اس نے بیٹیاں پسند کیں بیٹے چھوڑ کر،
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ١٥٤
Kanzul Iman — English
“What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تمہیں کیا ہے، کیسا حکم لگاتے ہو (ف۱۳۹)
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ١٥٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“So do you not ponder?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو کیا دھیان نہیں کرتے (ف۱٤۰)
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ١٥٦
Kanzul Iman — English
“Or do you have some clear proof?”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
یا تمہارے لیے کوئی کھلی سند ہے،
فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ١٥٧
Kanzul Iman — English
“Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اپنی کتاب لاؤ (ف۱٤۱) اگر تم سچے ہو،
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ١٥٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور اس میں اور جنوں میں رشتہ ٹھہرایا (ف۱٤۲) اور بیشک جنوں کو معلوم ہے کہ وہ (ف۱٤۳) ضرور حاضر لائے جائیں گے (ف۱٤٤)
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٥٩
Kanzul Iman — English
Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
پاکی ہے اللہ کو ان باتوں سے کہ یہ بتاتے ہیں،
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Except the chosen bondmen of Allah.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر اللہ کے چنے ہوئے بندے (ف۱٤۵)
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ١٦١
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.)
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو تم اور جو کچھ تم اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہو (ف۱٤٦)
مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ١٦٢
Kanzul Iman — English
You cannot make anyone rebel against Him.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تم اس کے خلاف کسی کو بہکانے والے نہیں (ف۱٤۷)
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ١٦٣
Kanzul Iman — English
Except the one who will go into the blazing fire.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
مگر اسے جو بھڑکتی آگ میں جانے والا ہے (ف۱٤۸)
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ١٦٤
Kanzul Iman — English
And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور فرشتے کہتے ہیں ہم میں ہر ایک کا ایک مقام معلوم ہے (ف۱٤۹)
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ١٦٥
Kanzul Iman — English
“And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہم پر پھیلائے حکم کے منتظر ہیں،
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ١٦٦
Kanzul Iman — English
“And indeed we are those who say His purity.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہم اس کی تسبیح کرنے والے ہیں،
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ١٦٧
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed the disbelievers used to say, –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک وہ کہتے تھے (ف۱۵۰)
لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٦٨
Kanzul Iman — English
“If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” –
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اگر ہمارے پاس اگلوں کی کوئی نصیحت ہوتی (ف۱۵۱)
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٩
Kanzul Iman — English
“We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.”
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ضرور ہم اللہ کے چنے ہوئے بندے ہوتے (ف۱۵۲)
فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ١٧٠
Kanzul Iman — English
They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو اس کے منکر ہوئے تو عنقریب جان لیں گے (ف۱۵۳)
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٧١
Kanzul Iman — English
And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہمارا کلام گزر چکا ہے ہمارے بھیجے ہوئے بندوں کے لیے،
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ١٧٢
Kanzul Iman — English
That undoubtedly, only they will be helped.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
کہ بیشک انہیں کی مدد ہوگی،
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ١٧٣
Kanzul Iman — English
And surely, only Our army will be victorious.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور بیشک ہمارا ہی لشکر (ف۱۵٤) غالب آئے گا،
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٤
Kanzul Iman — English
Therefore turn away from them for some time.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو ایک وقت تم ان سے منہ پھیر لو (ف۱۵۵)
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٥
Kanzul Iman — English
And watch them, for they will soon see.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور انہیں دیکھتے رہو کہ عنقریب وہ دیکھیں گے (ف۱۵٦)
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ١٧٦
Kanzul Iman — English
So are they being impatient for Our punishment?
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
تو کیا ہمارے عذاب کی جلدی کرتے ہیں،
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ١٧٧
Kanzul Iman — English
So when it does descend in their courtyards – so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned!

پھر جب اترے گا ان کے آنگن میں تو ڈرائے گیوں کی کیا ہی بری صبح ہوگی،
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٨
Kanzul Iman — English
And turn away from them for some time.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور ایک وقت تک ان سے منہ پھیرلو،
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٩
Kanzul Iman — English
And wait, for they will soon see.
Kanzul Iman — Urdu
اور انتظار کرو کہ وہ عنقریب دیکھیں گے،
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٨٠
Kanzul Iman — English
Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say.

پاکی ہے تمہارے رب کو عزت والے رب کو ان کی باتوں سے (ف۱۵۷)
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٨١
Kanzul Iman — English
And peace is upon the Noble Messengers.

اور سلام ہے پیغمبروں پر (ف۱۵۸)
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٨٢
Kanzul Iman — English
And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation.

اور سب خوبیاں اللہ کو سارے جہاں کا رب ہے،
